I grew up in a agricultural state, Iowa. Never saw a Black farmer my entire life. In this body of work I want to uplift imagery of land ownership throughout America, the Diaspora and Slave plantations that connect us back to Africa. Our original free state. |

Spring is here! The sun is shining, trees blooming, birds singing and the weather is sweet. Always a wonderful time of year to feel new energy upon us. We hope youโve had a great start to the year. We've been busy in the studio and over in London for Beyond the Streets. It was great to be back in London. Huge honor to be part of the show and share a room with our good friend Shepard Fairey. If you get a chance to see the show it's at Saatchi Gallery in London until May 9th.
Today, we're excited to release a new block print thatโs been long in the making. Rising is a classic FAILE block print based on one of our original wood block paintings. Approximately 38 layers in the process of making this print. A rich archival pigment print on a heavyweight matte paper with deckled edges. A lot of small elements mixed in to all the blocks giving some fun sense of discovery.
The edition is 350, signed, numbered and embossed. The print will be available today Wednesday, March 29th starting at Noon NYC. Please allow 3-4 weeks for shipping.
