Election to be held on 12 December , by Bill Hicks on Nov 24, 2019 9:52:56 GMT 1, Hereโs how you can register to vote and have your say, bearing in mind the Deadline to do so is 26TH November 2019. How do I register? If you registered to vote last time around, you may not need to re-register. Otherwise, you can register online here. www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
You will need your National Insurance number and passport. It is important to note that if you have moved home since the last time you voted, you must re-register at your new property. You can still register to vote even if you do not have a fixed address. This may be because you are:
A hospital patient Homeless A merchant seaman Part of the gypsy or travelling community Living on a boat or other moveable residence A person remanded in custody
If you do not have a permanent address, you can register at an address where you spend a substantial part of your time or have some connection. This could be a previously permanent address, shelter or similar place. You can register by filling in a form called a โDeclaration of local connectionโ Which can be downloaded here. www.gov.uk/government/collections/register-to-vote-paper-forms
There are two forms โ one for people in England and Wales and one for those living in Scotland. Alternatively, you can get the form from your local electoral registration office. Not sure if youโre registered? Every local authority holds the electoral register for their area. You can contact your local registration office and they will be able to let you know if you are registered. To find the contact details of your local office, enter your postcode here on the Electoral Commissionโs website. www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter
Iโm registered โ now how do I vote? You can vote in a referendum or general election in the following ways: In person at your local polling station โ you can find the location on the Electoral Commissionโs website closer to voting day By post, or by proxy Details of the nearest polling station are most likely to be shown on the back of your polling card, which you will receive in the post in the event a new vote is announced. In England, Scotland and Wales, you can register to vote by post if you will be unable to do it in person on the day. For a postal vote you will need to download a form www.electoralcommission.org.uk/i-am-a/voter/voting-person-post-or-proxy/voting-post And send it to your local registration office (see above). Your local council will then send you a ballot paper by post, which you will need to send back. This must done in advance โ all postal vote requests need to arrive at the office a few days before the election. Can someone else vote for me? If you cannot vote by either of these methods, you can apply to vote by proxy โ allowing somebody you trust to submit your vote on your behalf. This can be due to a disability, or if you are abroad, or away on a course for work or university. After completing the right form, you will need to print it, sign it, and send it back to your local electoral registration office. The deadline is usually 5pm, six working days before the poll.

Election to be held on 12 December , by seamusdorey on Nov 28, 2019 14:03:16 GMT 1, I am sick to death of all these politicians squirming and twisting, like snakes, on National television trying to dodge direct questions while they vomit lie after lie all over us.
Just answer the bloody question, even if the answer is unpalatable! No wonder people have lost all trust in our political system and the public laugh in their faces on Question Time.
I have my postal vote envelope completed, sealed and ready to post. However, the choices I've been presented with is shameful. This country led the World in the Industrial Revolution and have some of the brightest minds but, after successive mismanagement, we continually sell our properties, infrastructure and services to the highest bidders such as China and Russia.
Wish I could vote for Andrew Neil.
At this rate my postal vote will end up in the bin rather than the postbox.

I was talking to my sister on Saturday, pissed up as usual
She works at a childcare place, said she would have to make redundancies straight away if Labour got in due to the ยฃ10 min wage as they just couldn't support the increase.
So she won't vote Labour as they want low wage people to be paid more
Cant vote conservative because she cares
Bit real life, it's all pretty shit isn't it.
We are just so split as a nation, thanks for reading. I am going to paint 16 shutter doors as punishment for making them, should have bought them, but it seemed a good idea at the time

Election to be held on 12 December , by Daylight Robber on Dec 9, 2019 23:23:14 GMT 1, Sheree Jenner-Hepburn 3 hrs ยท Very interesting. A good friend of mine is a senior nursing sister at Leeds Hospital - the boy shown on the floor by the media was in fact put there by his mother who then took photos on her mobile phone and uploaded it to media outlets before he climbed back onto his trolley. He was on a hospital trolley in the paediatric A&E having been seen within 20 minutes. I am a nurse myself and am so pissed off with fake news, yes the NHS is a mess mainly caused by people misusing it and lack of elderly care. Think of the nurses and Doctors who are doing their jobs instead of constantly slagging them off. another Momentum Propaganda story. Disgraceful
Calling bullshit. No one gets seen within 20mins at A&E

Election to be held on 12 December , by drip on Dec 9, 2019 23:46:02 GMT 1, Crappers. If some mystery internet person has a friend that knows differently, then Dr Yvette Oade, chief medical officer at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust really messed up when she said: "Our hospitals are extremely busy at the moment and we are very sorry that Jack's family had a long wait in our Emergency Department."
She added: "We are extremely sorry that there were only chairs available in the treatment room, and no bed. This falls below our usual high standards, and for this we would like to sincerely apologise to Jack and his family."

Seriously?
Did you see Johnson being confronted with the photo and responding by snatching the reporters phone? Then did you hear about the dead cat fake assault on Hancock's aide?
Johnson and the tories showed their true colours today. Zero empathy followed by fabricating a distraction.
And then there's Tomorrow's Independent front page horror story of a 57hr wait in A&E for a disabled child

You think it's scummy to want a better NHS? Why?
The number of hospital beds has fallen to its lowest level ever, despite the head of the NHS warning that bed closures have gone too far.
The health service in England has cut so many beds in recent years that it has just 127,225 left to cope with the rising demand for care, which will intensify as winter starts to bite.
In total, 17,230 beds have been cut from the 144,455 that existed in April-June 2010, the period when the coalition Conservative/Liberal Democrat government took office and imposed a nine-year funding squeeze on the NHS, even though critics cautioned against it because of growing pressures on the service.
