More ebay sellers using Global Shipping Program Why?, by ajr on Sept 28, 2021 10:37:14 GMT 1, If damaged in transit via Global Shipping Program, ask buyer to open a case and specify "damaged in transit during Global SHipping Program". The algos/bots will pick it up and they will automatically refund the buyer and take the case off of you. It's happened to me twice, and the key is to write that phrase and it will get picked up when they review the case.

Hey Jimini, Thanks, yes they are... the way it pans out though is that eBay force you to accept the return (if you don't within a day or two they just refund the buyer). But then when you accept the return you then become responsible for getting the item back to the UK. Also even if I get the item back, it's going to be damaged... so at what point does eBay step in if they, and I quote 'You aren't responsible for item loss or damage that occurs after the item reaches the UK Shipping Centre.' The main thing I think is how the hell do you talk to anyone at eBay.? At best I've managed to chat to a pop up AI that just doesn't understand the nuance of the matter, or is programmed to misunderstand... Cheers! In the pop up AI chat ignore their messages and type 'connect with agent' and you'll be given the option of online chat or call back.
