If you had ยฃ1000 to invest what would you buy?, by nobokov on Jun 20, 2023 19:14:49 GMT 1, Please donโt be so flippant in your response, I canโt think of many artists that are well known where you can get canvases ( not bloody prints of multiple of 100-200) under a grand and yes I picked another up last night which will be a 100 x 70cm for ยฃ450 all in. Itโs just an option as the OP asked for??? Most of my mates who have banksys and lots of other big names also have a decent collection of seen works including myself as they are great to look at ( if you care about graffiti art) and one day will be worth a lot more than now! Buy what you want but Seen is a master If the OP buys scribbles and comic book canvases from an art-world nobody, I don't think it would qualify as an investment. But I think it's already too late anyway.
This forum has already lead the OP astray as you can see he/she is interested in Pose, Pure Evil, Kai and Sunny, and Sarah Pope.

Check out the art schools and their current thesis shows. Also check out the good residencies too. Somewhere in there is the next Flora Yukhnovich, Salman Toor, Jordan Casteel for as little as ยฃ1000. Happy hunting.
