If you had £1000 to invest what would you buy?, by nobokov on Nov 9, 2023 19:14:25 GMT 1, i would buy an original from tim timmey (i already have two 😁). i think the artist has potential and the originals are still very cheap at the moment. for example this one: 'heavy load' / 51,5 x 51,5 cm / 700 euros plus shipping contact instagram: @timtimmey
Anyone without a CV, has an online shop, and is named Tim Timmey unfortunately wouldn't qualify as investment grade art.

what kind of unqualified comment is that? in my opinion, tim timmey (tim nedrup) is one of the greatest artists in the field of urban art in sweden. first of all, get to know the artist properly, then we can talk further

But isn't this thread about investment grade art? I'm thinking that to mean art that will appreciate to at least $100,000, art that would end up in major museums and in evening sales for the two big auction houses.
I'm glad you like what you purchased, but if we're talking about investing in art for monetary appreciation, urban art is not the general direction to go toward.
