Leading contemporary artist Anish Kapoor has created a new print ‘Glow for Maggie’ marking 25 years since our founder Maggie Keswick Jencks died having created the blueprint for a new type of cancer care.
With the support of Lisson Gallery, Anish Kapoor has generously donated 150 limited edition, signed prints to be sold in aid of Maggie’s.

Limited-edition print – 'Glow for Maggie'
The new print offers a powerful image of light surrounded by subtle overlapping layers of purple and dark violet.

‘Glow for Maggie’, 2020, a polymer gravure type etching with the image debossed and with a border (image size 23 x 29 cm, on paper size 33 x 40 cm). Published by Anish Kapoor Studio in an edition of 250 signed and numbered copies (plus artist proofs) of which 150 have been donated to Maggie’s.

The print is available to buy online, or over the phone for £5,000 plus postage and packaging. With all sale proceeds going to Maggie’s.

I am delighted to create this new print in support of Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres. Maggie’s does such important work for those with cancer across the UK, particularly crucial in the wake of the Covid pandemic. Perhaps everyone who buys a print can feel as I do that we can help by working together.

Help us support people with cancer
Maggie’s hope was that people with cancer should not ‘lose the joy of living in the fear of dying’ and she has given a lasting legacy of 23 beautiful centres across the UK and three abroad. 25 years on and people with cancer are facing the devastating impact of the coronavirus and need our support more than ever.

After many months of shielding, many people with cancer are facing the consequences of changes or delays to treatment. The professional support offered by Maggie’s, either in its centres by appointment or by phone, email or online can help people through this challenging time.

Maggie’s relies almost entirely on voluntary donations. The money raised from the sale of 'Glow for Maggie' will enable us to continue to be there when we are needed most by people with cancer, their family and friends.
