🇯🇵‘Serenity’🇯🇵- my new large scale canvas painting - based on my street geisha painted recently on Brick Lane, East London. I really wanted to capture a sense of stillness and beauty of the geisha - with striking face paint, delicate and serene - contrasted with the chaotic ragged texture of the streets themselves. She gazes out of the wall, out of the streets as the tags close around her. Peaceful in a sea of chaos
