Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 17, 2020 15:48:32 GMT 1, If China were to blame that would never come to light The compensation they would owe to every country and individual effected Would cripple their country The trade deals lost and They would be blocked by other countries out of the world economy , this would lead to mass financial losses to their nation and mass famine eventually And deaths unseen of before . Would create racism and social isolation of the race unseen ever before ,already publicised in the early stages of spread in the uk of Sporadic cases of racism towards Chinese nationals Based on a natural occurrence of a virus imagine the effect of this was a lab accident or malicious act Let’s hope for humanity it is a natural occurrence And evidence as yet does not disprove yet Although quoted months in by leading scientists they are still understanding this virus And little is known and never seen anything like this before Are you simple? Or 12? Do you really believe the above or is it an elaborate trolling exercise? Compensation? Loss of trade deals?
Answer: response to a previous Posters question not suggested factual , if a country were to blame for engineering the virus hypothetically thinking the outcomes as to be held responsible for such an act .if an accident there would be no consequences? Bp deep water horizon was an accident ? There are consequences , now go play with your dolls ,muppet

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on Apr 17, 2020 18:46:53 GMT 1, There is going to be a reckoning for sure. Interesting enough, if you go to the WHO website they are still sticking to the debunked story that the first case was on dec 31 2019. Bounce on over to the live science website and you will see the first known case was a 55 yr old male on nov 17 2019. And more with NO connection to the BS market story on Dec 1st. So ask yourself. Why hasn’t the WHO updated their site? You can see they updated the timeline just 2 days ago. The WHO is in for a reckoning as well. Personally, I feel this comes down to greed. I think China didn’t want their exports run by the state to lose luster during the holidays by blowing the whistle. Instead, they just let people stick to business as usual while they tried to control the narrative and the disease silently spread around the globe. Scientists tried to blow the whistle. Some are confirmed dead that did. China finally admits to the issue. Blames it on a meat market and begins banning media, banning release of scientific studies by their own people, going as far to remove them from existence and then further controlling the narrative by putting in place a 3 tier govt approval to publish anything. We already know the scientists in the lab in Wuhan were operating in unsafe conditions and they even were begging colleges in the USA to fund them to try to fix them. Politicians in the US that had visited the area prior to the outbreak also voiced concerns of the safety issues going on in that med facility. All published on the record in confirmed electronic communications well before the outbreak. China continues to LIE about the depth and breadth of the spread in their own country and now are just throwing out new numbers as it’s clear by the pace of the spread in other countries their being shady bittches. So I agree with the U.K. politician that said business as usual with China is not happening when this is over. How can you trust someone that keeps spinning web after web of lies with something that is killing 100’000’s of our friends and family and infecting millions who some now have permanent damage to their lungs and other issues they are still trying to pin down? If they don’t want to act like a men, and instead a bunch of cowards, when the WORLD needs transparency to move forward. Then they can live with the consequences. I don’t dislike Chinese people. They are great people. But they have some leaders that don’t give a fucck about them or anyone else in the world. Including you and your family. China is losing their ability to ever be considered trustworthy for the foreseeable future and will lose what they want most. To be the worlds leading manufacturer. Their losing that by the minute. Only chance China has to gain face and stop the bleeding will be to man up and become COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT. In the end, we don’t need goods from China. We can figure other things out. If they don’t want to play nice. Our governments won’t either. It’s in China’s court if they want to continue to act like bitches or man up. ✌🏻
Don’t hold your breath 😁 www.wsj.com/amp/articles/pandemic-makes-u-s-china-economic-breakup-more-likely-u-s-businesses-in-china-say-11587113926
I take it your US based? Trumps not exactly covered himself in glory here either. As far as he was concerned it was nothing worse than the flu and nothing to worry about. His primary concern is money and being re-elected not people. I think a number of politicians not just China need to look at how they conduct their business and who’s interest they are acting for.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by mw on Apr 17, 2020 18:48:30 GMT 1, So, those that think Covid19 is man made, do you think the same of SARS, MERS, EBOLA, HIV.....??
In respect of the vaccine, once the old and vulnerable are immunised, we won't need anything near 100% take up to stop community spread. Those who don't will hopefully only be detrimental to themselves.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by graeme on Apr 17, 2020 20:02:46 GMT 1, You only need to find sources in films.
The virus itself is the single thing needed to produce a vaccine, which is the closest to a cure that you can get with a viral infection.

... just say ... that it came from a bat or other animal ... when it entered a human it would have mutated at that point to be able to infect human to human ...
... I'm sure there is food poisoning in the US ... food poisoning is often from infected meat ... the issue is if that organism mutates to spread human to human ...
... it really does not make any difference now ... finding bat #1

With information and facts starting to be released slowly it is good to see society holding up well . Strange times ahead with no cure only the healthy individuals will be around Any one with underlying health issues and illnesses would benefit to totally self isolate until a clearer understanding is known And medicines to limit the virus Growth , as Of present a vaccine is still not guaranteed to be found

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Daylight Robber on Apr 18, 2020 8:44:09 GMT 1, Just received a newsletter from The Queen's College, Oxford University. Some relatively positive news. Oxford has started early trials for a vaccine and they're hopeful of starting human trials, possibly as early as May. They suggest it may be available by the end of the year. For reference, Oxford were at the forefront of developing leading vaccines for Ebola and MERS. In regards to engineering, a collaboration between Oxford’s Department of Engineering Science, Oxford University Hospitals, King’s College London, and the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences are working on Oxvent - a simplified but effective ventilator that can be produced in its thousands per week. The device is described as like IKEA furniture – it can be assembled in your front room with minimal tools. It's simple, but it will keep you alive.’
A million doses of the vaccine produced by September seen as a modest target by the scientists at Oxford University. www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/health-52329659?__twitter_impression=true

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by wrigs on Apr 18, 2020 9:11:12 GMT 1, Many of your posts in this thread are about politics 😉 Maybe you are right, maybe everything boils down to politics and politicians and as much as I loathe them, the media and the ones who own their souls. Maybe I’m just a fool, a simpleton, an idiot or dreamer that has seen too much darkness and now sees people for what’s in their hearts n minds vs what they say and do. As I do judge folks on how they treat people, not by how they look or if they believe in things that are polar opposites to mine. Maybe everything I stand for is political. 🤷🏼♂️ So now what? Clearly if a picture is worth a 1000 words, my avatar speaks volumes on how I identify with my past and what I’m trying to be. And no, it has nothing to do with my sons and yes, I’m not luke. Very few men can walk a mile in my shoes and come out on the other end. You have no idea. But I’m trying. So what else do you want to address?
Wasn’t a personal attack just pointing out that whilst you state you don’t do politics your posts would say different 😁 We should all be involved in politics unless you don’t wish to have a voice.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by brycepen on Apr 18, 2020 13:17:59 GMT 1, It is scientifically acknowledged that this virus is natural. There is no need to hunt bats, we have the genome sequence. It wasn't a secret the lab in Wuhan was doing coronavirus research, safety warnings have previously been issued in regard to its lapse security. Did it escape from the lab? Possibly. Would it have evolved naturally outside of the lab? Quite possibly. Let's not mimic Trump, attack now will solve nothing other than to hamper the much needed cohesion to solve this together.
Hahahaha, are Chinese trolls now even desperate enough to come to UAA? Or are you just that thick. As discussed during today’s US Coronavirus press briefing, Dr. Fauci, the well respected head of the NIH, spoke about a new publication soon to be released by a team of evolutionary biologists. They looked at the genetic sequencing from SARS and compared it to SARS2/COVID-19, analyzing how likely the development of SARS2 was due to the natural genetic mutation of SARS in bats, invivo.
Fauci’s summary of the analysis: “The number and sequence of favorable mutations required to go from one virus to the other would the equivalent of what it would take for a bat to evolve into a human being.”
In other words, there is literally no chance in hell that this virus is “natural.”
I’m not questioning the intelligence of any scientists that take the alternative stance and say it wasn’t man made. I’m sure they are intelligent enough to know that it’s in their best interest not to go up against the the Chinese government. I sincerely doubt that a single one of them believes this virus emerged from natural and spontaneous genetic mutations.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by mw on Apr 18, 2020 14:22:03 GMT 1, It is scientifically acknowledged that this virus is natural. Fauci’s summary of the analysis: “The number and sequence of favorable mutations required to go from one virus to the other would the equivalent of what it would take for a bat to evolve into a human being.” In other words, there is literally no chance in hell that this virus is “natural.” I’m not questioning the intelligence of any scientists that take the alternative stance and say it wasn’t man made. I’m sure they are intelligent enough to know that it’s in their best interest not to go up against the the Chinese government. I sincerely doubt that a single one of them believes this virus emerged from natural and spontaneous genetic mutations.
A little bit of knowledge is more dangerous than none.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 18, 2020 14:46:36 GMT 1, So, those that think Covid19 is man made, do you think the same of SARS, MERS, EBOLA, HIV.....?? In respect of the vaccine, once the old and vulnerable are immunised, we won't need anything near 100% take up to stop community spread. Those who don't will hopefully only be detrimental to themselves.
At the present moment With research carried out so far once infected This does not mean your immune to reinfection A few world government scientists and who have made this statement.
By the time a vaccine comes round there will be mutations in the virus , the vaccine developed with short cuts taken would had been developed 2-5 years prior on a different strain , would this vaccine have the same effects years later on a different : mutated strain? Anything developed now would slow down the infection rates but not eradicate the whole virus , the whole world is still working separately and dealing with the pandemic differently to each other

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 18, 2020 14:51:30 GMT 1, I don’t know the extent. But so for the US and U.K. I imagine Italy and Spain’s people will jump on board as well considering how it has devastated their people. Their people I imagine will demand it. And supposedly the jobs of politicians is to do what’s best for their people. Finding the truth on why their loved ones died sounds like a no brainer. Brazil seems fired up too. Again, don’t care for politicians, but I want some answers. Don’t you? And don’t go racist on me for using the “your people” phrase. I’m not racist and you know what I’m saying. Thanks in advance. Just in case Fox News has given you the wrong impression, the U.K. government doesn’t have a decent set of balls between them. While your president rants about China to distract from his failings (a distraction which is clearly working on you, by the way), our government has very carefully continued to lay the groundwork for blaming their failings on ‘the science’. Grr... pesky science. I’m gonna punch it in the face if I ever meet it.
Should of blamed their IT software programme designer , But science sounds more technical ,the uk mentioned algorithms in the computer simulated modelling programme showed a different picture at first and blamed their lack of actions upon the programme🙈

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on Apr 18, 2020 14:59:48 GMT 1, A vaccine is the hope and theoretical cure but it is not guaranteed one can be successfully developed yet , Many other diseases , viruses out there with hundreds of billions Of usd of Research Spent over the decades and no nearer to a cure or Successful vaccinations developed and a completely new virus with no previous research and a cure can be developed in two years? Can we turn these scientists over to hiv And cancer research after Even the Ebola virus recently scientists had old research from an outbreak decades previously to work on hence the quick developments
