Ah, didn't realise it was voluntary, as you can be paid for another job while also being paid on furlough. A bit of searching and it makes sense now. George Eustice, secretary of state for environment has fruit farms owned by his family๐

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Deleted on Apr 28, 2020 15:45:17 GMT 1, Why hasnโt Nigel Farage organised a big band of his followers to pick crops and fruit on our farms? Funny how jingoism and flag-waving doesnโt magically translate into hordes of Albionโs finest flocking to help our farmers in the fields. Just as it wonโt post-Brexit. Hurrah! Turns out 50,000 patriots applied to be fruit and veg pickers... 112 turned up to work.
This is why we voted Brexit. Who needs stuff that's grown anyway. Boring crap.
As long as i have my beer and crisps all will be ok

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by pellets on May 2, 2020 1:25:59 GMT 1, I dont wanna sound mental but why is cost even a consideration in these decisions. Money is literally made up. Just forkin order the equipment, pay for it and then print the money. All the economic theory is made up and there isnt a free market in the world. Print the money, pay for the stuff, then cancel the debt if you need to. Its made up. Youโre the UK government, sort it out.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by eye like on May 4, 2020 18:51:42 GMT 1, RIP Dave Greenfield. Right up there with fellow keyboardist Ray Manzarek in truly defining the sound of their respective bands. Oh man that's bad news. What a legend and still so great.
I grew up near Guildford where the lads came from and lost count of the times I saw them, the last only a year ago. Black and White is still one of my favourite albums of that era.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by tab1 on May 5, 2020 1:44:26 GMT 1, www.aei.org/op-eds/how-to-make-china-pay-for-covid-19/
With more governments muttering that it may be a laboratory accident , not one that is engineered in any way but investigating a natural occurring virus that had escaped the laboratory as of an accident This pandemic could be a learning curve to put in order more safety requirements for bsl level 4 laboratorys as there are many accidents and lethal escapes of viruses over the years in many country's and no government or pharmaceutical body has ever been held accountable ? Now the public are aware of these types of research held in these laboratorys , are these laboratorys held to a world governing body of standard safety requirements or independent to each country ? If this pandemic is a natural occurrence these types of viruses are held in these laboratorys and probably more lethal types and an accident could happen at anytime and look at the chaos that ensues , bio weapons research is still carried out although an agreement to end this type of research came in the 70s?

Theses laboratoryโs should have state of the art security both for physical escapes of research and intellectual data , noting the nhs healthcare security data scandal a few years back and Still no advanced security set in place ? World Reports about Wuhan Laboratoryโ security issues but there are also many reports on issues on the U.K. industry and a future accident most likely to occur

Good article. Very close to how things are about to play out. Some would call this โcheck mateโ...
โ It could claim that in cancelling Chinese holdings of U.S. Treasury debt, the United States is only recouping Chinaโs international debt cancelled by the Chinese Communist Party when it seized power in 1949.โ โ๐ป

Good luck with that. More likely to see more jumping up and down from Trump trying to distract from his own shortcomings around the virus in order to get re-elected. The Chinese clearly made some grave errors but clearly many other governments followed suit
