"The 2009 H1N1 pandemic originated in the United States before spreading around the world, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). A later study suggested it was first diagnosed in humans in Mexico.
The CDC estimated that from April 12, 2009 to April 10, 2010, there were 60.8 million H1N1 cases, with 274,304 hospitalizations and 12,469 deaths in the U.S. alone.
They also estimate that worldwide, 151,700 to 575,400 people died from (H1N1)pdm09 during the first year. Unusually, about 80% of the deaths were in people younger than 65 years of age."

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Terry Fuckwitt on Apr 8, 2020 22:17:53 GMT 1, Remember the bigots, the xenophobes, and the racists who four years ago kept telling you migrants were a drain on the NHS? Quiet now, arenโt they. Migrants to the UK were saving lives in our hospitals and providing care to our most vulnerable long before this pandemic and long before many of us were even born. Even as they were marginalised by the media and lambasted by populist politicians for political capital they were here, saving lives. The NHS is not drained by migrants, but sustained by them.
And sadly a lot are now losing their lives news.sky.com/story/coronavirus-70-year-old-nurse-who-worked-for-nhs-for-44-years-dies-11970301

A leading proportion of the votes for brexit voted for brexit as of the propaganda of the influx of migrants straining the NHS and the economy portrayed at the time , most voted not knowing what deal the uk would have and the actual benefits of leaving the eu would have for the uk but to stop the drain on uk by migrants , which lead on to the comment before a few of the voters were from the groups described . Most of the workers in the supply chains still working now that we ALL depend on are in the groups under brexit rules that would be restricted , the voters for brexit will see how worse off we are , the ones that didn't already knew ๐๐ฌ๐

You are doing what you do best. Twisting things round to suit your rhetoric.
Migrant NHS workers entered the UK legally from EU countries and also from other parts of the world with work visas.
Migrants who came to the UK legally use the NHS to get treated and there wa san influx of migrants from EU countries a few years ago. Then there are health tourists who visit the UK from other parts of the world and take advantage of the system.
"Itโs estimated that ยฃ100 to ยฃ300 million a year is spent on patients who come to the UK to use the NHS deliberately." fullfact.org/health/how-much-can-we-charge-people-overseas-use-nhs/
It was Labours Diana Abbott who said she did not want blonde blue eyed Finnish nurses working in multicultural east London. Abbott also said people should not be recruited from overseas.
and Abbott also said "``And are Finnish girls, who may never have met a black person before, let alone touched one, best suited to nurse in multicultural Hackney?''"
www.heraldscotland.com/news/12029702.abbott-denies-attack-on-nurses-was-racist/
That is blatant anti migrant racism from Abbott.
Miliband was no better when leader of the Labour party saying that there are too many eastern europeans living and working in the Uk and targetting mainly the Polish.
The bigots who were slagging off the migrants are in the Labour party.
You also confuse migrants who enter UK legally and work legally with illegal immigrants which you fashionably call refugees at every opportunity.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by moron on Apr 8, 2020 23:27:12 GMT 1, Do you really fรผcking need it explaining? Eine made a print - some time ago - addressing his views on Boris Johnsonโs politics and/or career of mendacious lying. Eine is many things, good and bad, but Nostradamus he is not, otherwise he might have have made a print stating โI Hope Boris Johnson Dies Of Coronavirusโ, though I know he wouldnโt. Fรผck off back to your sensationalist Daily Mail intern application form. I asked a rhetorical question. There was zero need for It to lead to a tirade of swearing or abuse. If any mods wish to review this and warn this member as to their conduct then thank you for doing so. If not then you have lost me as a member because I donโt come here to be spoken to like this.
Politicians are considered fair game for satire and insults and political art. So Eine or Childish hurling abuse against Boris or May etc part and parcel of the fact that we have freedom of speech in europe and the UK to different degrees. For me though the examples set by Billy Childish and Eine etc today shows clearly how the hard left have nothing to say apart from shouting abuse and calling people c**t etc. They are like a bunch of thugs and it shows when they are more than one and physically attack others when their shouting abuse and calling people racists and nazis doesn't work. They are the real jackbooted thugs.
So no, I don't think Eine should or will regret what he wrote as it has nothing to do with Boris being in hospital.
You will have to excuse Gods Ultimate Noise.
He gets offended on behalf of Banksy on here.
I think it's paid gig of one form or another.

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by moron on Apr 8, 2020 23:38:58 GMT 1, Now I have to read into the back ground of the research facilities mentioned ๐ I find reading factual evidence and research information more positive than depending on the media and pm question times , half the information released or discussed on pm question time I have read 3 weeks ago , gives you a better understanding of what precautions to take . At present how many people in total isolation ?how are they getting their house hold supplies and food stuff ? Unless your decontaminating all items that enter your house hold you have a high chance of the virus entering your domain, viruses can survive on cardboard for 24hrs , plastics up to 9 days ,high percentage of the population shown to be asymptomatic , spreading unknowingly .. there for the isolation process is just helping the medical services from being overcrowded and stopping a strain being put on mortuaries and burial space , at present 90% of the population will catch the virus and at present the only defence is if your immune system / body is strong enough to fight off or pull through if severe symptoms shown .๐ท๐๐ Lets put it this way. The government now knows more about this virus than they are admitting.
and it didn't originate in a fish market.
and regarding Boris going round hospitals shaking peoples hands etc etc. The W H O (world health organisation) made a statement on January 14th on Twitter that human to human transmission was not possible.
When all of this is sorted out. The WHO and China have a lot of explaining to do.

It is so easy to speculate but have to try to have reasonable thoughts with the limited factual information out there , I do agree limited information given to the public Harsh idea but reality every countries government benefits from the groups most effected by their decline long term

Which government? And how many scientists and doctors from how many research institutes and other countries do they have on the payroll to keep all of this secret data under wraps?
What would be the benefit of keeping data from the public? Because they don't want us to take this situation seriously because the real facts show its much more serious than we currently think it is?

What would be the benefit of keeping data from the public? Because they don't want us to take this situation seriously because the real facts show its much more serious than we currently think it is? They know more about the origins and the cover up by the Chinese government.
Doctors etc who were arrested in China for saying too much and who were forced to retract their statements.
3,333 total deaths in China since the outbreak last year and 10,869 in France 17,669 in Italy 14,792 in Spain 14,590 in USA.
Do people actually believe the Chinese figures ?

Corona Virus effect on the art market?, by Daylight Robber on Apr 9, 2020 0:07:37 GMT 1, ย and regarding Boris going round hospitals shaking peoples hands etc etc. The W H O (world health organisation) made a statement on January 14th on Twitter that human to human transmission was not possible. Boris made that statement over a month later, on the 3rd March. This was more than 6 weeks after the WHO changed their advice. I agree that the statement that you posted has certainly not aged well, but the link you attempted to draw between the two events was mildly cretinous.ย
Mildly?
He'll be tying himself up in knots next trying to explain why the info coming from the WHO regarding person to person transmission was so important, yet when it comes to their advice to test, test, test, it doesn't matter.

Did the who publicly admit that they had misled people about transmission from human to human was not possible.
I thought the WHO gave out facts not what China told them to say?

To gain a clear picture more testing all countryโs state needs to carried out , For example as a test example to gain data of transmissions and rate of spread , any small island could be fully tested , example Ibiza top of head ๐๐ฌ

Not really.
The WHO made that statement on January 14th , four days after China reported the first official case of Coronavirus Sars 2 to the world and cases were reported in Italy before then too. So if frontline staff and doctors treating people took this advice as fact back then from the WHO and believed that human to human transmission was impossible and did not protect themselves and other patients in hospitals it could be one main reason why these early cases created an epidemic in Italy and other countries in Europe.

If this was the case, there would be a significantly higher number of deaths at this point (accepting the fact that they've only been reporting deaths in hospital of course).ย If the rate of spread in the population is higher than perceived (which I think is likely) then it would suggest that the mortality rate is lower.ย
On pm question time and Scottish question time have reported all deaths attributed to covid 19 not reported and could be many times higher , many scientists state the same too, the way deaths are reported are all over the place
