I'm looking for a GDP Thrower the editioned triptych...
If anyone has any leads on one please let me know.
I know it's going to be punchy but obviously not looking for someone taking the piss.
Thanks loads,

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Londown 01 on Jan 25, 2022 10:30:57 GMT 1, I was wondering why Banksquiats are being offered/bought quite regularly but not the triptych (which is obviously much cooler)
Have any been sold that there is a rough idea of a price out there?

I don't think owners are so keen to part with the Thrower prints.
Despite the GDP hype/FOMO, I don't think Banksquiat is an image people really want on their wall if they have the option to trade it for something else.

There is double the amount of basquaits on the market ? Two editions of 300 ? Hence more on the market

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by JFCC on Jan 25, 2022 12:38:48 GMT 1, The 3 in auction have gone for £241-368k. There is one currently on sale on Artsy at £500k all without COAs, which despite comments to the contrary are unlikely to be a problem when Pest Control start issuing them.
There are 300 Throwers, some lottery winners, some framed and some framed and glazed. There are also some hand finished ones. They are a very large pieces and very impressive in real life. They certainly deserve a price tag of £400k plus today.
Compared to Banksquait they are a different class, although image wise Bansquait is stunning. There are also 600 in total plus some hand finished. As a standard print they will be £100k+ moving forward which feels right as does the gap to Thrower.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Pootle on Jan 25, 2022 13:28:51 GMT 1, The thrower is a far more desirable image than the Banksquiat and is really impressive in person. Also likely fewer in circulation as stated by one of the posters above.
The ones I know of that have traded privately have been around the 330-375 GBP mark... I suspect people are waiting for COAs to see if there will be an impact on pricing. I personally don't think there will be much, but likely more avenues to sell with a COA in hand.

Which has gotten me thinking, which of these two works would you rather have displayed in your home? (As for the OP, best of luck in the search) I think unfortunately that a signed GWB will still be a fair bit more expensive than Thrower - £525-575k+ v. £375k - 425k+ but what's £150k!
In my view they are very different pieces and if you have the right space Thrower looks stunning but as a single piece all things equal I would have GWB.

Is the conventional wisdom that prices will go up on these once COAs are issued? Or is it a case of who knows?

I rekon the COAs may actually end up causing these to go down in value. Either that or these will go to 400 - 500K pounds.

Once COAs start to appear there'll be quite a lot of sellers wanting gto cash in their gains and good fortune, in my opinion.
I would have thought that there will be an early price surge maybe to as high as £400-450k before prices settle back as the first wave of change of ownerships take place. Stability will return followed with a progressive increases as is the market norm.

You can only go through the pest control site (as told by GDP). You pay when the COA is ready.

Banksy™ Thrower Prints Set, Gross Domestic Product™, by Rabbitlegs on Mar 28, 2022 21:32:28 GMT 1, I can only apologise repeatedly for the emotions you have gone through.
I just want to clarify a few matters. We received hundreds of thousands of applications from all over the world. The amount was staggering.
Everyone; every single person who applied to win an item received the same e-mail you received. Many did go into spam, so that would be the only instance where people said it wasn't received.
Eventually, even when the winning checkout links were sent, these occasionally did go into some peoples' spam. We have had some instances of having no response from winners, despite e-mailing winners multiple times to check. Our indpeenant judge Adam Bloom had to select more answers in these cases. Many people even entered their own emails incorrectly, and they missed out on being able to purchase items. It was a unique shopping experience with a very slim chance to buy Banksy items at a very low price. We would love to have made hundreds of thousands of items available, but as it was expressly said at the time; we are a tiny studio, and each item was hand made. Demand enormously outstrips supply.
When you contacted us months later, we were swamped in processing the orders and your e-mail looked like one of our "unchecked" out orders. You even shared the same first name as a winner who had uncollected. We had a very unfortunate admin situation, however, as you were not the correct winner, you did not receive the automatic check out link. I am very sorry for the confusion and I am speaking with colleagues regarding what we can do to make up for this error.
We are struggling with the impact of Covid-19 so please have some patience. All correct winners have claimed items at this stage, but we are exploring the options we have.
Thanks,
