Also he s just a really good person, he shares his success and supports other struggling artists providing them studio spaces, intros to his galleries etc... (i know that directly from an artist he s helping out).
His prices have gone wild recently but there is a solid market support for him. Yes compared to Banksy / street art market it is expensive, but not compared to the (non urban) contemporary market (there still is a market discount for street art imo vs what it should be worth in comparison with the institutional contemporary art market track).
And yes there is a strong demand for emerging artists from minority communities in the US who have and still are discriminated against on many levels - which I believe could grow into the next major new movement after street art.
