Ignoring the weirdness political goings on in the world, 2017 was a pretty good year for me all in all.
I am really happy with the progress my art work has taken over the past 365 days a think that I have turned a good few corners. There have been ups and downs, some false starts and dead ends to back out of but they are all part and parcel of the joyously frustrating process of making art.
Over the last year I have made some massive wall pieces in Belfast and had a great time making a mess in Bristol for Upfest. Pictures of mine have been posted to all corners of the world and exhibited in a good few places too.
So massive thank you to all the buyers, supporters, galleries, friends and family who have helped me along the way.
I am back in the studio this week to finish off a couple of bits before I start work on some of the things that are bubbling in the back of my head and I have some bigish news about a solo show in London in Springtime but Iโll save that for another post.
So thatโs it. Happy New Year humans of the internet.

I wanted to put larger one off pieces in rather than editioned prints
Anyway I did it. I survived. Uploaded them all and had some hot whiskey.

here is a detail of a piece I am working on at the mo... it is a bit all over the place but it is getting there.
This is one of those pieces that hasnt turned out at all how i imagined it and seems to want to do its own thing.

First day in bloody ages where I haven't felt ill and tired and all full of january doom! Let the good times roll!
This morning I nicely negotiated painting a wall in a Belfast club where I more or less get fairly paid AND got most of the design work done for the London exhibition propaganda (more on this later in the week)
in the meantime here i am on a ladder

I have just been to the printer to get a load of stuff printed for some massive paste ups
And I have been working on this piece of propaganda for the upcoming exhibition in London
This will be a screen print at some point but it still needs a bit of work
Anyway
the exhibition is on London in Atom Gallery and will be a whole load of different types of experimental screen prints and painty type things with a bit of sculpture thrown in for good measure!
Obviously the whole world is invited but its not until May
anyways, Welcome to the Simulation!
