I have found a printers here that does massive black and white printouts for ยฃ1.50 rather than the ยฃ12 that i would pay in my normal printers... so yeah i can now afford to do some big paste ups

I made some pretty nice pieces yesterday and the computer engineer came and fixed my machine today so I'll get a few of the new pieces up tomorrow
In the mean time the deadline for registering for UpFest is tonight at 12. So get on it!

night ya'll So this piece is all distressed due to me using screen on the canvas one and generally being really rough with the screen. So a bit of a bugger up all in all. But I did learn something. My fabulous assistant has a new saw and she has been cutting me bits of ply to fit into the pile of frames that I have. Which is great as if I used the new saw i'd pretty quickly lose bits of my fingers.

Instead of making them in-situ I am making them on some huge bits of pretty sexy marine ply that I am going to paint/paste-up and screen print on until they look suitably mental!
Its all good, except I'm not going to have the time to work on my own stuff (poor me) so for the mean time here is a piece from a new edition that I haven't had time to get up. This is 1 of 10 and is printed/painted on fabriano grey. This sold yesterday to a very nice UAA member so massive cheers for that.

I am going to cycle into town to go for meetings about websites and get a few new pieces on screen to start to edition next week.
In other news a very sound human bought one of these yesterday. It is a variable edition of only 3 and is a rather nice piece even if I do say so myself. I am going to upload the other one that I have to my shop later today but there is another one over at Atom Gallery if anyone is interested?

This whole image making thing can be strange at times... I mean I like to experiment and let paint do some of the things that it likes to do whilst trying to make it do other things that maybe it doesn't want to do. But. I worked on 2 pieces today and each of them came out rather differently to how I imagined they would.
Not in a bad way but in a bit of a head scratchy step back and think about this kind of way
