I finished off this edition today and the screen has gone off to get stripped so the next picture can begin. But I am pretty happy with how these came out.

yeah they are a mix of screen printing and painting. It is not the quickest way to edition a piece but I enjoy the process and most of the time the outcome is to my liking 
I am going to try get some more of these finished ones online next week.

It is a lascaux gold onto red. It really glows and changes colour a lot depending on the angle of the light.
I am working on another edition with the gold and red but it really hard to photograph it the way your eye sees it.

The very short answer (because I am trying to finish off an edition tonight) is that they are old computer monitors and it comes from a very late night conversation I had with a mate about simulation theory... So I am working towards an exhibition that is set inside a simulated world but one where they know that it is simulated.
does that make sense?
Anyway hopefully when the exhibition is ready the simulation story should hang together pretty well and also make sense.

I'm new (sort of๐) on here too but would never think of slagging an artist and his work on my 2nd post. I happen to like (and own) some of Leo's work and want to see his new stuff on a regular basis - he's a genuinely creative talent and a decent guy in person as well. It's negative and frankly unwanted comments from you and your likes that bring this forum down - personally if you've nothing sensible to say just keep it to yourself imo.
