As with anything, it's all about moderation.
There was a period of two years when I'd be on NDAs pretty much every weekend. Got to the point where it felt like I couldn't have fun without them. That's really messed up. And it conflicted with my desire for complete independence / non-dependency.
These days, I'm happy with just a couple of pints.
