There’s a new amazon documentary that Steve caballero was advertising on his Instagram the other day I thought looked worth a watch. It’s about the making of tony hawks video game. Looks interesting
Rodney seems like a great guy. would never know from the tony hawk bonus videos, but listening to him hes a very interesting guy. bones brigade is a great one

Banksy + Clown Skateboards, by flatcolor on Aug 20, 2020 22:08:51 GMT 1, Being an ex skater and a fan of Banksy's work it was a no brainer for me, skated for years riding Santa Cruz, Alva , H- Street, Blind and Powell, like to think I could still ride but probably not these days. One of my favourite t-shirts is still one I wear now.  fuck yes. i also skated/skate santa cruz. and some sector 9 when i was beginner. i skate the bart simpson replica board, which handles surprisingly well. insane turning radius too; can do a 180 in one lane of traffic. stocked up on those because i'm a longtime simpsons fan. never got really great though, esp. with tricks; i mostly do it for transportation. i've definitely calmed down lately after a few breaks. feel like explaining something like that to my employer these days might not go over so well. curious who else on the forum skates, or used to?

Love all things skating, still after all these years.
I'm currently working on a Zine about skateboard collectors and their collections and stories behind them.
Just bought one of the wheel sculptures from Sergio Garcia over at Thinkspace. It was too good to pass up.

To me, all the counter culture stuff goes hand in hand, Graffiti(Writing), Punk, Skating, etc.
