Banksy + Clown Skateboards, by mrizzle on Nov 14, 2020 15:37:10 GMT 1, As irl1 shared, here’s one direct link to one of the independent stockists. I just picked the Scottish one as it’s closest to me:
focuspocus.co.uk/collections/clown-skateboards
I’m now a bit confused though as I bought the white t-shirt and black hoodie as I was under the impression that they were limited items but there’s no reference to them being that way at the shop in the link above.

Maybe in some sort of special edition.

Banksy + Clown Skateboards, by JW on Nov 14, 2020 16:06:57 GMT 1, These are the "last remaining" of each so who knows how many each stockist has.
Remember - the clown is their logo. They have every right to continue to sell variations of whatever they like with the clown on it. People may think they're trying to milk the Banksy link - but they're not tagging #banksy on Instagram for these and you won't see the monkeys on anything else.
Anyone who bought the merch just to flip is a fool.

Banksy + Clown Skateboards, by Happy Shopper on Nov 14, 2020 16:29:20 GMT 1, Seems odd that T-Shirts are supposed to be editions of just 200. Is that split between s, m, l and xl, or 200 of each!? Clown had their own sale, now all these stockists have them too... so how many are they really selling !?

Otherwise it would have been quite a job to handpull 800 of them....
If they sold 100 on the first release, they would have 10 for each reseller.
There are internet wizzards on here that can see stock size.....

As Dive Jedi suggests in his post above yours, a likely split for each design would be around just 2 per size per stockist... now concidering how quickly these “sold out” on their site, does it seem likely that these are all still available in all sizes? Just strikes me as suspicious. That’s all.

Banksy authorised 100 of each deck graphic to be used so decks will not be sold again after any last drop I can assure everyone of this.

Banksy + Clown Skateboards, by bonesy on Nov 14, 2020 18:48:24 GMT 1, I wish the company all the best but there are a lot of skate deck companies out there putting fantastic designs on the bottom of boards, a few sell out quick but most don't. They're talking up the future artists and exciting things to come (as they should) but I personally have very little interest as there are already so many decks readily available with sweet imagery and I don't see myself hanging many more decks on the wall than the few I already have. I wonder if they'll be able to resist the temptation of easy money by doing variants of the Banksy images down the road- easy money.

Decks aren’t really for hanging unless special to the person that owns them shall we say. Clown’s future artists designs may end up on some peoples walls but I would say most will be skated by skateboarders as they are intended for. I only know of a handful of OG Banksy Clown decks that have lived specifically on peoples walls as ‘art’ as that wasn’t the intention of any companies boards when they were released Clown included.
This is why the Clown Banksy ‘Test Press’ series is so unique.

what do you mean by “more so after the loss in the courts” as I’m not sure I understand ??

This is completely irrelevant to the Clown brand as everything was agreed by the artist before production.
Banksy was heavily involved with Clown & I can assure you that the brand will not push any agreed boundaries with Banksy as they still communicate regularly to say the very least. Anything that has never been formally agreed with Banksy will not be put in to production please understand this.
Clown are not creating fake Banksy merchandise in the form of worthless gift cards, canvases or pieces of wood that aren’t authorised they are fulfilling a 20+ year old agreement with Banksy himself after a relatively long break from the scene.
Hopefully this sets the record straight once & for all.

That may be true but don’t think I’d feel comfortable ‘setting the record straight’ on behalf of a company that I’d only purchased a few bits from on a forum full of strangers.
I suspect your involvement may be greater than you’ve let on. Doesn’t really matter either way as long as people are getting what they think they are paying for 👍🏼

It’s because it’s been 20 years since Clown & Banksy launched the brand back in 2000.

Unofficial pr guy , majority of sales were from the forum , the original link was posted here from ? The first link was posted for the second release drop which is where all the interest built up
Banksy will not work with the team again so they have nothing to lose if they release any more products . All businesses are struggling in the pandemic yet anything banksy related flies off the shelves , as shown by their Banksy clothing lines ,they would be daft not to release any more products

Doesn’t really matter either way as long as people are getting what they think they are paying for 👍🏼 Unofficial pr guy , majority of sales were from the forum , the original link was posted here from ? The first link was posted for the second release drop which is where all the interest built up Banksy will not work with the team again so they have nothing to lose if they release any more products . All businesses are struggling in the pandemic yet anything banksy related flies off the shelves , as shown by their Banksy clothing lines ,they would be daft not to release any more products I’m honoured that you think this but you have no idea what you are talking about ☝🏻
