Assuming your previous username was @jt36, I'm curious about why that account was deleted.
Two years ago, you confirmed you weren't letting the matter go, and would take mash to court if necessary.
This "action, not words" approach had impressed me, and I recall being pleased reading about someone willing to stand up for themselves. The £250 was in effect a secondary issue — even trivial compared to the higher point of principle, regarding the apparent contempt with which you'd been treated.
What eventually happened at the small claims court?

It really is that simple and after further reflection I'm not going to drop this, have done research about small claims process and a "letter before action" will be going out tomorrow. That does help thanks. I've written the letter after reading some advice on various sites (I've done it formally as you said), so going to send that off tomorrow. Good to hear the process was painless. Hopefully the letter alone does the trick but if not I'm happy to go the court route.

Actually I’ve just read this thread for the first time. I’ve no idea if this guy is that guy however the reason that fell apart was a heart attack I suffered. I’ve barely been on since. Certainly had no court letter or any contact with him from that day to this.
If I had anything to hide I would just have changed my name like a lot of the keyboard warriors on here.
Happy to provide doctors records to a forum guardian if required!
There is enough people on here and enough respected people on here including forum guardians that I’ve done many many transactions with including buying some of these pieces that should be able to speak to me being bonafide.
I also specifically requested face to face deals on this thread.
Hope that clears things up but any questions please ask.

From memory it was 3500 that was repaid so unsure what the 250 relates to?

You owed me a refund of 3750, you eventually paid me 3500 after lying to me for weeks. I've sent you a PM, please pay me the 250 and we can put the matter to bed. Thanks.

This "action, not words" approach had impressed me, and I recall being pleased reading about someone willing to stand up for themselves. The £250 was in effect a secondary issue — even trivial compared to the higher point of principle, regarding the apparent contempt with which you'd been treated. What eventually happened at the small claims court? urbanartassociation.com/thread/152727/pejac-dran-shrigley-brantley-added?page=2It really is that simple and after further reflection I'm not going to drop this, have done research about small claims process and a "letter before action" will be going out tomorrow. That does help thanks. I've written the letter after reading some advice on various sites (I've done it formally as you said), so going to send that off tomorrow. Good to hear the process was painless. Hopefully the letter alone does the trick but if not I'm happy to go the court route. He moved house and I couldn't track him down to take matters further, hit a dead end. Glad he has resurfaced, hopefully he can now do what is right and repay me.
