As an abstract fan I love seeing the textures up close, the colours fit perfectly with a room I'm currently decorating, and it's also for a good cause! I'm not fussed about edition size or resale as I like the image.
I felt to sleep on my couch last evening and woke up at 23:57. Decided to buy one small fruitful literally in the very last minute.

I like the NHS editions more than these. That said, the NHS editions were quite small already and they seem to sell for some profit, so it's possible more people will buy to resell.

I'll be getting it framed for sure, as I think it needs it. If nothing else I'm happy with the charity donation, and I'm happy with the size (wall space is at a premium here).

Agreed but have you tired buying an original Hirst? It’s a tad more than €400 I wouldn't have a clue. But I remember the screen prints, the etchings and woodblock spot editions. Those are the sort of prints I like. When they're a photo of an artwork, it's as though there is a step in the way of what I'm looking at. Where it's a method such as a woodblock I'm looking at the actual paint, for me it's a different experience. |
