Depending on what you like, Cleon Peterson is a super solid investment, I just saw some of his better pieces go up here on the For Sale thread. Also everyone is going crazy about Stik and there are some deals to be had if you are more down for that. Cheers! JB

I saw the Cleon pieces, they looked good and I had a couple of his bits in the past before a big sell off during divorce.
Hoping to have a good range of options of the speculative post.
Stik is a good shout as haven’t owned anything from him before.

I’ve been tempted by a faile piece I saw for £850.
I mean - just buy what you Iike. If it were me, I’d look to some of the older classic stuff - early dface, faile, shep and neate are all within budget and very cool. 1k will get him half a mat now. Two months ago, a full one.
Imho, at 1k options are limited, but I think Fairey prints are still a good buy long term. Dude will go down in history as one of the best, and although he puts out more than a prostitute, some of his recent and still affordable releases will be in high demand years from now.
Around 10-15 years ago I was buying every Fairey he dropped weekly on his site for $40-50. A lot of them are worth $400+ now.

Those were 2, 5 or 10 GBP at one point a few years ago and at 1k GBP, there's so much original art to be bought (or at the very least signed screen prints), like pellets 's suggestion of several (not even one) original works by a legend such as SEEN
Also, STIK and Invader works (originals/screen prints) cannot be found at 1k
Edit to add my suggestions: personally, I'm always looking at artists with a clear art education, and I would spent the 1k on either Borondo, SWOON, DALeast, ROA or HERAKUT (just a couple of names that come up for me)
