Yep don't think to buy it to flip (maybe got value with time has he is a bluechip artist and at that price it's a no brainer pace prints was another level i'm agree but not affordable for me and prefer that image). This is not an easy one, I agree - I have the unsigned one in a folder since I canโt get around to put it out.
But there are several brilliant pieces that are very cheap and remarkable tbh. The ยฃ100 was cheap and brilliant, and if that is too conceptual for you the Odyssey print was also super cheap (and still kind of is I think - 500?), and it is remarkable (yet hard). And for a few thousand each (2-3k I think in private sales) the paper cuts are actually brilliant in the flesh (citizen investigation, map of China and NYC in particular - and the all set is actually a full retrospective on his lifetime work that one could build one piece at the time). And if you can make it to 5kโฆ etc

He is such an influential and powerful artist and to get the opportunity to buy a signed edition of 200 at this price is a great opportunity for fans without deep pockets. I can live with the fact it is a poster and I do think this has a strong message. It will be going on the wall.

A couple years down the line may be a different story though.
