Don't own any Richter and unlikely to be able to afford the earlier prints so might take the plunge on this one if I can still get a copy.

As per my previous post, the price of 1,500 GBP is before VAT. I also looked into the Bacon editions and from an investment standpoint, I think they're a bad idea. As was already pointed out, their asking price is almost that of a signed print on a good day. Add that to the fact that these are editions of 500 and most signed prints are editions of 100 or less and it looks like this is a good one to let the museums have to themselves.

Was told by Serpentine if I submitted purchase form today I would "be in with good chance" of getting one but demand was highest for this print and guy seemed to be suggesting it would sell out soon. Not sure if I am caught up in the hype of previous prints but I do like this one.
Agree with comment above it would need to be in small wall and isn't something that would dominate a room.
I am no expert in this type of work but am I right in presuming it is hard to get anything from Richter for around 1k at the moment? Thinking I would hang for few years but that it is also an OK investment if I am ever skint.
Would be interested to hear what other more knowledgable forum members think...have been on here a year now and seem to be constantly buying or considering buying great work!
