As owner and collector of two Cage prints Iโm not in any way nervous (i.e. I donโt think the sky falls down Poster Bob), but when we post increasing prices we could also mention the dips.

That was very cheap for a signed Richter. It's insane how much people are paying for unsigned richter prints. Maybe this is an example of how poor images just don't sell, even when it's from a famous artist. His drawings and ink work are just unappealing and not great examples of his talent. |

I hate to admit it, but I cancelled my order after seeing the quality of these (well, Eis, at least). For Richter-approved editions of 500 with generous dimensions these are a good price, but I donโt think Iโd want to dedicate 1m squared of wall space to it or pay for the framing. I hope for the sake of others that Iโm wrong/overreacting.

They are approved by Richter. Daco Verlag is an international well reputated publisher since 1951 and the founder Gรผnter Blรคse worked on previous projects with the artist before. This is also confirmed by the management of Kunsthaus in Zurich. There is no way that they would mess around with their reputation.
I do not like the "Ice" print/poster but the others do look great in person. I have bought a "Lake Lucerne" and it really looks not too far off if you compare it to the original oil painting. This is simply the way they are painted... a little blurry (if this is the right way to call it).
