Friedrich Kunath cuts through a sublime sunset with blunt authenticity in This Is The Worst Time Of My Life.



In his second Avant Arte edition, Kunath transports the viewer to an island rich with nature and Romantic awe – stamped with his signature birds-in-flight. Tiptoeing between two and three-dimensional, a bespoke steel ladder is attached to the frame to represent the journey between sadness and happiness – ever-connected opposites. The graffiti-inspired text, added by the artist to each print in acrylic paint, remains open to interpretation. The artist’s continuous practice of intentional ambiguity, in this case, an absent signature, encourages the viewer to fill in the gaps themselves.

Prints arrive float-mounted in a matte white painted wooden frame, with an attachment for the ladder.

Fine art pigment Print on 308gsm Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper with gloss highlights, blue pigment details and a silkscreen varnish seal, hand-finished by the artist in acrylic ink and accompanied by a powder-coated, laser-cut steel ladder.

I am looking to sell my Friedrich Kunath - I Don't Worry Anymore print.
It's in perfect condition, professionally framed with museum glass.
Edition of 50, signed and numbered - 35 2/5 × 25 3/5 in | 90 × 65 cm
I'm based in the UK and am the original owner.
I've done many deals here over the years.

I need some help on price as I've not been keeping up, are there any thoughts?

I'd say probably £2-3k if you can attract a buyer, not seen one of these at auction but similar one sold last year for the £2-3k mark. It's probably bottom end of that range right now IMO.
