His art is not urban although I've the feeling that there're some borrowings from street art. Parts of some paintings remind me on Neo Rauch (New Leipzig School).
He's not a newcomer at all but I haven't read about him here in the forum and thought it's worth to mention.

Emailed Vogel and went back and forth with Sebastian. He seems like a good fellow and is very prompt on the comms. Unfortunately the print is way above my budget - was seriously not expecting it to be nearly $4k! Sucks because I was ready to pull the trigger at maybe 1/3 - 1/2 that.
So I guess Iโm curious:
1) Is Kunath that much more collectible than I realized? $4k print collectible?
2) Are people going for it?
3) Is anyone else here interested in him?
4) Anyone know where to find semi affordable small works of his?

I follow you on IG and I remember seeing that youโve been onto him for a hot minute. I missed out on the first edition, just wasnโt paying attention at the time, but figured maybe the new one would be a 30-40% price increase. Not >300%. Not knocking you adding the new one, but would be interested to hear your take on the new price if youโre willing to give it.
If my memory serves me I think I recall seeing medium sized canvas 60x60ish CM for around $7-8k? This maybe 6-9 months ago. I need to go back and look for the emails so donโt quote me on that since itโs just off top my head while Iโm out running errands.
Anyway unfortunately i wont be adding my first Friedrich to the wall this go around. But, if anyone has anything of his theyโd like to part with for a reasonable $$$ please LMK.

Forget what I said about the prices earlier. I just found an updated pdf of his works. Small work on paper is $10k. Larger canvases range from $55k to $85k.

I agree, but was a surprised by the prices. I was expecting prices to be maybe 1/3 to 1/2 of what they turned out to be (maybe $25k for the larger canvases) and hoping that there would be some smaller works on paper for $3-5k. I really had no idea that he was as collectable as he must be.
His work is amazing but the pieces I like are unfortunately above my pay grade. Oh well.
