I think it is Brexit related and fits in with one of the Bomb Middle England interpretations. That is a certain demographic with traditional/outdated views impacting England. The stick, handbag and teeth I feel have symbolism. I think the lace hanky does also but not as clear.
Stick - EU support
Handbag - Finances
Lace Hanky - Outdated
Teeth - Power

At the beginning of this pandemic there were thousands of people offering to help the elderly and ill that needed to shield whereas in lockdown2 the enthusiasm to help the less able seems to have faded. The government actively spread the disease in care homes and refuse to take any responsibility for so many deaths, as a result most elderly folk are petrified of catching Covid19. They've been told they no longer need to shield which is very confusing since their health conditions are no different, not helped by the Secretary of State for Health & Social Care making crass, idiotic jokes about "Don't kill Granny" if they risk seeing their families during Christmas.
Its an uphill struggle for the elderly right now and they have no support from the Government. Many don't have smart phones or access to the internet to book food deliveries, their state pensions aren't enough to cover rent, food, heating and now the tv licence. Even though this lady looks like a tough little cookie she's struggling and sadly if she is ill won't even be able to see her doctor and lets hope the teeth survive as there is little chance of seeing a dentist to replace them. All in all its not looking good for our OAP's.
