They are all hand made and although not technically originals, they do provide a cheaper alternative to own a piece of invaders work which I would otherwise not be able to afford (about 5 grand and upwards for an original from laz).
Managed to grab an IK11 earlier from source so no need to trade anymore.

Invader • Invasion Kits IK, by bazzj04 on Oct 19, 2009 15:52:53 GMT 1, are they not still around the 400 mark though , personally just seems a fair bit of cash from mosaic tiles , in a perspex box , guess just a personall thing i guess, they very small too ?they had some of this at the Laz shop few weeks back not sure what ones though. , if your after them might be worth checking them out

Invader • Invasion Kits IK, by craigf on Oct 19, 2009 18:13:09 GMT 1, The Laz ones are a lot more as they are mounted in perspex. The normal kits are just the tiles held together with backing that you can then stick into a little frame. I have one that is high up so a little like a street piece ;D

It would be so much better if they produced some kind of tray or perspex box for them to sit in and if the signature was actually on the tiles. Would always steer clear of the signed ones as I wouldn't want to remove it from the wrapper.

Dont like that one.
Get the the unsigned, take it out of the package and stick it to the mountboard.
Someone on W...K... has done a lovely job.
Just like star wars figures let these breath outside of those packets!

That framed wrapped one is the wackest thing I've ever seen ... bizarre.

I'm a big fan of Invader and bought my first invasion kit (Union Jack IK7 unsigned, just numbered) last week... I'll pass though I have been expecting that IK12 for some time.
I have a unopened IK7 and packaging is a problem for display / framing, especially with that anti-static yellow printing, which really sucks.
Invader really needs to make an effort for collectors !
I pass for those same reasons : not suitable for framing, signature/number should be on something else than plastic wrap, and yellow signeage hiding the piece sucks.
Maybe if we all send emails to invader, at some time he will change the packaging ? I will send a mail for my part.
