Would love an Invader kit, but once I saw 4000 I didnt even try. If it was a lower price I would have wasted some time trying to see if it was a hoax or not.

The floating technique used by Eric would be my own preference — over streetartger's mat resting above the kit.

But Eric's framer may have missed a trick with the moulding. For me, its thickness is a bit overpowering, drawing my eyes outward.

I think this is the area where streetartger's framer was more on the ball. Note the consistency in proportions / width between the moulding of his frame and the tiles (including the black ones) of the Invader piece.

Might want to score out the total too.

I thought the misadventure you had with fake Invasion Kits some years ago would make you pass on further kit purchases. Seems not. Good on you, i love invader too.

Hi all. There may be a specific thread on this...but I can't find it if there is... I need some advice please re framing a kit, can anyone help me. I want to take it out of the bag to display it and then to house it in a perspex box, but I'm not sure how to do that without sticking it to the backboard (which I don't want to do). Hope that makes sense, any advice much appreciated. Thanks!

Use silicone on the back of the wax paper. Put weight over it while it dries overnight.
