laminate on aluminium panel makes it look dull, flat and too shiny..artificial and almost a single dimension, will give it a miss

I bought Mercy & Honor. #3 and #6. I think they will look great together on a wall...

I was thinking along the same lines as you, but am now leaning toward #3 and #5 going better together (though are very similar).

I like them, but my wallet doesn't.

H4-7, which is similar size, has sold a few times on ebay, roughly 9-10 thousand, but they are limited to just 75. So if these sell by the truck load then perhaps $3000 plus costs is high enough. IMO for a timed edition they are not bargain priced. What was the cost of the H4-7s on release?

The last heni editions are not an easy purchase in my opinion...fruitful, forever, heart and rainbow... not pricey enough to let them go, not good enough to make it to the wall...
For me its the material and format together with the type of image that is not a great fit... but that is my opinion!

I'm making the only comparison available to me. I'm no Hirst expert(why I asked what the release price was), you say it's his least desirable, is this the general consensus or personal opinion? I am interested in buying but don't want to pay $3000 for one of possibly thousands if his usual limited drops would cost say $4500 for 1/75.

The release price means nothing other than, in general, setting a minimum price. Secondary price is determined by image quality, size and limitation. Without a doubt, H4-7 is the least desirable of the series. You're assuming that you're going to be offered a signed Hirst; I wouldn't count on it as the competition is steep. I have a friend who owns over 10 HENI prints, has never sold a thing, and still hasn't been offered a thing by Hirst.

I guess my point was more that these seem downright cheap when you compare the cost to timed open edition NFT's. Would you rather a signed Hirst or Greg Mike open edition, because they're almost the same cost.

You can buy all 8 for about half the price of an unsigned banksy. well maybe not half the price, just trying to stretch a point.... rather badly

I like the lighter images, 3 and 5 personal favourites due to their minimalism, fits well with my personal aesthetic and reminds me heavily of Japan. From an investment POV? 1 and 7 are the most different so potentially desirable, 2 is completely fucked not sure what he was going for with the gravity defying branches.

My 2 cents: Many people waited for the cherry blossoms (as square format, maybe smaller). The dimensions are huge but probably adequate for a tree motif.

Pricing is difficult to judge: half the price of the signed and limited H4 edition, double the price of the time limited but approx. half-sized and unsigned H8 (Fruitful & Forever, large).

My estimate for the total edition size of all eight together is 5,000.

I will definitely order at least one, but don't know which one yet. My favorites are H9-1 Justice, H9-4 Politeness (even with the visible overpaintings in the top left) and H9-6 Honour. In fact, these are the ones with a little more colour contrast.
