But then who's buying at the secondary prices? That's the really confusing part for me.
Physical art as a medium transcends to interior design for me. Physically being able to see and touch something and then add creative displaying differences makes art unique. Unless someone is planning on installing plasma TV's all over there home in frames to have these playing on loop 24/7 I don't see the appeal, and even so would be weird.

That's actually not very many. There were 130 that entered a $250k drawing the other day. This is a pretty weak turnout if you've been watching this and these aren't going to flip for a profit. Newbies jumping in and whales that have more cyrpto than they could ever spend and just want the trophy.

That's also the short sightedness of anyone claiming that current NFTs are the future. The future isn't a fucking gif or jpg. Look into augmented reality and laser projection and you will need proper 3d models instead of a flat image.

I can see the validity of say 20 years from now when technology is sufficient enough to demonstrate the full potential of owning something digital that can fill a living room for a 1 of a kind experience in a immersive augmented reality or virtual environment that someone could own and show. If these filled my living room with new technology and were floating around my flat in a crystal clear projection in 3 dimensions i may feel differently. |
