To be fraud someone has to suffer a loss, I can't see where that has happened here.

Not to mention also that the blades featured in the video that was originally uploaded of the stunt were for aesthetic purposes and as mentioned somewhere above the battery's could never last that long. As I'm aware I remember reading an interview a few years ago where JPS mentioned Banksys art "saved his life" as he had serious problems with alcohol abuse, as I'm aware this was before the Dismaland exhibition in Western Súper Mare, now mistake me if im wrong but I also believe JPS is from Western Super Mare and was doing his art thing there long before Banksy decided open Dismaland there. I don't think for one minute Banksy would have been able to have pulled that off without knowing or seeing about the work of JPS prior to planning so I get the impression that JPS may of felt slightly disrespected or angered that he wasn't included in the lineup seeing as it was in his back yard. Then again hundreds of thousands of people decended on Western Super Mare where his work was exposed to a wider audience which would have otherwise never of happened. I think JPS is somewhat of a talented stencil artist in his own right and shouldn't have to lower himself down to these levels. I can only guess that maybe he seeks some type of recognition from Banksy or validation which hasn't happened. This clearly isnt the right way about going about it and I can't help but feel somewhat bad for JPS. I guess if someone out there from Banksys camp is reading this although undeserving it might be worth sending him a signed t-shirt, coffee mug or something.

So banksy has been re-cutting and modifying his stencils until the technology came along to create a vector file. He made this technological leap in 2005. After that did it all become a bit of a joke? From a graffiti point of view cutting stencils was already a leap so to moving to and creating a vector image and multiple people signing prints (walls Id have no problem with) has always been the dead stop for me. Go for the early Del Naja stuff the rest is at best in the style of.... or simply unattributed garbage.

It was never going to be sold as it was described, so nothing fraudulent going on.

I'm not sure why Jo Brooks would need to make a statement as there is no case to answer. It should come as no surprise that an organisation like Pest Control have enough money to hire the best lawyers in the land, I'm sure any concerns or fraud or any other wrongdoing would have been much discussed and considered prior to the stunt going ahead. I'm sure the last thing somebody like Banksy would want is to get nicked on charges of fraud and have his beautiful mushot plastered all over the front page of the Daily Mail. If this is what you are trying to achieve it's not going to win you much sympathy. In the eyes of the law more wrongdoing was done in his early career painting all over stuff that didn't belong to him. This entire tissy fit is a gigantic nothing burger. Playing nice will get you a lot further than trying to send an innocent man to jail for a crime he didn't commit.

If as an example I submitted a banksy canvas that had not been previously submitted to pest control.
Banksy or pest can just put what ever date they want on the COA if they decided it was genuine. Banksy might have been out of his nut for a few years. I cant remember what i did 10 years ago. No one would care, would they?

I would like to know why you think it's wrong for Banksy to backdate a piece of artwork and why it's okay for you register a forum account under a fraudulent alias complaining about fraud. You are digging a deeper and deeper hole for yourself. I'm trying to remain impartial and give you some benefit of the doubt but this clearly has nothing to do with wrongdoing and you are just starting to sound like some old nutter who runs a community neighbourhood watch / vigilante internet justice group. To me it just sounds like you are upset that Banksy hasn't given you a pat on the back or a thumbs up. Does it satisfy you to try and bring someone down who essentially hasn’t wronged you. So after you were twelve? That's really sad. I can totally understand how that makes it super difficult to differentiate fraud (beriching oneself by creating something fake) vs. fiction (making up a story to entertain people (see Santa, Jesus Crist, Jedis...)).

I think we have to take a closer look to this all and ask some questions, the market drops and our investment seem to be in danger.
All that is worrying, if that piece was really executed in 2006 (like its stated on Sothebys website) and not 2018 , why don't we get a statement of Pest control or Jo brooks to this claim? We all should pressure to get answers.
How can a COA of pest control be worth anything, if they are clearly dont mind authenticating something falsely? "Love is in the bin" is actually displayed in a museum in germany now, as executed in 2006, which it clearly wasn't. you clearly don't own a banksy, otherwise you'd be worried about it all just like I am.
If that accusation is wrong, why is there no statement of the involved parties or any legal actions against jps or the media company? They are usually happy to sue little tiny baby card companies, but now they keep quiet? Fact is, there's an article and serious claims of ongoing fraud and we don't get any answers or responses.
If that all breaks the main media, our investment is ruined and not even worth a penny.
