If Sothebys knew that the piece was painted in 2018 (which they had to know about, otherwise it wouldn't have made it past the experts) , then they made themselve guilty of a crime giving it to auction as something it isn't. I don't understand how an artist could possibly "forge" their own pieces.
If you are genuinely concerned about the ramifications of this then sell. You mentioned that your print is sitting in lonely dark tube somewhere because it's only an "investment" and his artwork is "bland" clearly you don’t appreciate what you have.

I studied other works and read a bit into it all and to be fair I don't think its just this one piece. If you read my other comments, I think the recent flower thrower was suspicious and I don't even want to start with this radar rat again . People are waiting for their PAID COAs for years, I don't think that's a right thing to do. Or is it? Street Pieces appear on auction houses with COA, even though Pest Control always stated they won't authenticate them etc.
