Or I wonder if it's because you are a trader/gallery. It says on Facebook (their ALL CAPS not mine) : TICKET HOLDERS GET PREMIUM ACCESS TO THE FLORA & FAUNA ART CAR BOOT FAIR FROM 10AM ON SATURDAY MAY 15th. FOR ยฃ12, GAIN EARLY ACCESS TO ART BARGAINS FROM OVER 170 INVITED ARTISTS. OPEN AND FREE TO ALL ON 16th & 17th MAY! TICKETS AT artcarbootfair.com ๐ I got free tickets this year for signing up as a member for the last boot fair so Iโve just logged in to check and there is a small selection of works for preview but not everything
Thanks. That reminds me I think I got an email saying I had access coz I bought a ticket or membership or something last year. Better check my emails.

Theyโre sculptures - about 5 inches tall I think - I saw her showing them online in an interview.

Art Car Boot Fair, by toshspice on May 14, 2021 16:19:15 GMT 1, ... it was a good, if not great day out ... so long as it did not rain ... and you don't mind buying off paste up tables ... ... set the expectations low, spend the whole day ... rather than scrambling or even fighting over the 'in' piece ... and you would enjoy the day ... ... last year and the on-line experience was a total disaster ... and they did not help themselves ... they lost a lot of good will ... ... I think this year, people are giving it a miss ... and waiting for the old times in person ... ... artists sold direct and off their own websites in the end ... ... I haven't signed up and will wait til next year ... Fell off cliff after leaving the Truman Brewery Not true. A well-attended ACBF in Margate a couple of years back was all the better for being out of London. The shift to online has been problematic, but I feel for them as they are dealing with so many variables. The live events still are worth a visit, once the elbows-out art nannas-at-a-jumble-sale bargain snatchers have grabbed their flippables.

Overall not seeing much I want to buy but there is certainly a wide range.

Art Car Boot Fair, by stock on May 15, 2021 12:09:57 GMT 1, I'm loving this! So many great artists I've never seen (note, I'm from California so they're new for me), will write later with all my favs but (so far, going through each artist!) I'm loving James Unsworth, Orlanda, Broom- but y'all are crazy for not going to this event. There's famous artists in there too at great prices (e.g. Hirst ed. of 25 for 4,500, shonibare facemask for 45) that are mixed in with gorgeous emerging talent. The combination of me having zero money at the moment and not knowing the artist names this is just pure unadulterated art enjoyment for me.

Love you stock Okay, I spent wayyyy to long on ACBF. Thanks for the love from you gnarled and jaded UOA cynics - I love you too. The art accessible in my native San Francisco was (and comparatively still is) barren in the early internet days, compared to London (apart from Barry McGee, Shepard Fairey, and a few others) - I'm very grateful for ACBF.
So, you spoiled and blasรฉ bunch- set down your Banksy GDP tm mug, get your ass of your Banksy tm cushions, and check out the artists loved and I didnโt know before ACBF 2021 - let me know yours:
Rob and Nick Carter, Mekia Machine, Geraldine Swayne, Catherine Lette, Miranda Boulton, Lottie Stoddart, Claire Halifax, David Edmond, Aaron Bevan Bailey, and Shave Drigley (Iโm convinced this is D Shirg FYI. Either way I bought his work โI like Big Melonsโ because, I do.)
