If that's the case, I don't think that's going to work somehow, the queue surely can't decide who does and who does not get to purchase? Plenty of people going in the morning intent on getting the HM, i doubt some numbers on pieces of paper will stop them. GL to all those going anyway, hope it's a good one!

Lets clear things up. They are not tickets to purchase any print, the ticket system, (kindly) organised by some of the guys in the queue, are to ensure no one pushes in. If you want a print you come and queue, like civilised people. There wont be any 'argy bargy'. I've never know so much cynicism and criticism, of people's passion, as on this forum. Its whats kept me away and just dipped in occasionally. I joined years ago and left due to all the jealousy and negativity. So, come on people, we're all art lovers! PS I'm 44th in the queue. Not worried, once people are in there they'll be bimbling around scratching their heads, so its kinda mute (give or take my position) where you are in the queue. Peace, and good luck to everyone. X

Because it's not open yet. If you want to get there early go for it, but don't expect organisers to put in extra work to cater for you.

The oraganisers from artonapostcard stated that the people in the queue would not be secured a print. We took a photograph of us all to show we were not 'flippers' - there may be a few - always will be. Basicly I am sat here in the queue, am trying to get some sleep. Now had racist comments and have been hit with a ball - sounds fun to you?
