I'll hold my hands up to it but I've also been a member of this community for almost 8 years with countless transactions from very happy collectors.
Am I a dealer? 100%. I work with pieces from Basquiat, Giacometti, monumental Kaws sculptures to editions because I enjoy doing so. I placed works in homes, museums etc.
I don't mind justifying my credentials as they are long and distinguished... just like my Johnson

So let me get this straight, you sell Basquiats and you also sell 500 buck Sandra Chevrier prints ( failed flip ) - thatโs some spectrum and more to the point.... COMICAL !

It seems there are a lot of fakes knocking around. I'm not expert in his work but is there a certain gallery or safer reliable way to buy original that is bulletproof , what type of provenance am I looking for?

Hard to shoot down the provenance when you buy direct AND take photos. Feel really bad for Wear and the situation they have gotten themselves into.

I'm also told there is a Hambleton foundation being set up at the moment, how true this is i don't know.
His parents, two sisters and a brother are still alive so it could happen.
