Wearology contacted me to explain what happened. I was trying to find out the original seller that sold to him, but still not sure who that was, as I think he was just acting as a middle man.
A good shout by irl1 though for spotting them quickly before any money was handed over and possibly some big scams.

I am posting these paintings to make people aware that these are not by the hand of Richard Hambleton. They did not look right to me when i first saw them so i had them checked out by experts. Two Hambleton experts have said they are fakes but i cannot name them. Its up to buyers to make their own minds up if they are offered them and decide to take a chance, but you have been warned. Please don't ask me questions as i don't know anything about them.

We were told the seller was one of the biggest Hambleton collectors in the World, not much of a collector if he had at least ten fakes in his collection.

Definitely, anybody selling fakes should be outed and then it's up to them to defend themselves or put right.
