We were told the seller was one of the biggest Hambleton collectors in the World, not much of a collector if he had at least ten fakes in his collection. Definitely, anybody selling fakes should be outed and then it's up to them to defend themselves or put right. Wearology told me they all came with a COA and were from the foremost expert on Richard Hambleton who was featured in the movie Shadowman.

Yeah I get the Coa's mean nothing, I'm just repeating what he explained to me.
Wearology must have been very thankful towards you for pointing the fakes out so fast and saving himself a lot of bother after any sales taking place.

The thread was immediately pulled and not one forum member bought any of them from me. Another thread related to these works was started by a concerned forum member to inform the general public about the situation. I do not currently posess any of these items and never will, nor am I offering any of them for sale both privately and or publicly.

There will be a release on 1st July this year of four prints. Each measuring 28” x 60”. All are silkscreens on Torn Edged Somerset Satin Paper with between 5 and 12 screens each.
They will be released by Richard’s estate.
They come in a very small edition of 95 only.
The collection is available to pre-order at £4,950 for each image, or at the special price of £18,000 for a framed set (£16,000 unframed).
Let me know if anyone is interested, I can’t share the images but i’m happy to pass on contact details.
I wouldn’t sit on this long but he might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Finding signed works is like gold dust unless you have seriously deep pockets so it’s a great way to get some of Richard’s art on the wall with added prov from his estate.
