Anybody know how or when Avant Arte's releases happen?, by esfer on Aug 21, 2021 0:15:25 GMT 1, Hello all.
I Finally made it onto the approved client list for Avante Arte's future releases.
The problem is that I don't even really know what that means.
Does anyone have any experience buying from them?
If the releases are announced and take place at a certain times, what difference does it make if I'm on the list? Can't anyone buy a piece if it's released through their website and is saying it's still available?
Does anyone know what time they do their releases even? I live in the states, so I'm not even sure what time a release might typically occur.
Thank you for any help!

Secret. Can't have too many approved clients, otherwise not enough to go around.

Esfer It means you and 300 other people can have a phone interview for the remaining 1% of an edition after they've allocated the rest to their VIP clients.

Seems like they have too many anyway, 45/50 of new RDA going to VIP!

I sent them a lengthy email with a definite resume type of vibe, and asking to be added to the future release client list.
They confirmed that I was added to the list. But the email confirming basically just said I'll get info about upcoming releases e-mailed to me. I guess I'll just wait for those as the releases come up.
I also feel it's highly unlikely I would get anything in this first RDA release. However, I was actually thinking of releases that have yet to be announced when I sent the email. I figured the RDA print is probably pre-assigned to their main collectors by the vast majority. I'll still try for one if they send me the release info.
I need to start somewhere if I want to stop paying secondary market prices for everything I am interested in owning.
Good luck to anyone else seeking Avant arte releases.

Anybody know how or when Avant Arte's releases happen?, by Jimini Cricket on Aug 21, 2021 11:41:13 GMT 1, They should learn from Thinkspace and add secretly some extra numbers to the editionโฆ.
Chill bro. You keep bringing it up. The standard edition flips for like $1900+ and you paid $350 plus tax and ship. If you are not happy, return it and ask back for what it cost you. Thinkspace Please turn this customer's frown upside down ๐

Anybody know how or when Avant Arte's releases happen?, by esfer on Aug 21, 2021 14:51:07 GMT 1, I guess any advantage is better than no advantage. It's really not the gallery's fault that so many collectors are out here after the same popular artist's works. Honestly at least they are upfront about their giving preference to long time collectors.

Rรฉsumรฉ? Haha. Not hard to get on their lists, they let anyone on. Just send them an interest email and you're on.

Believe me, people can see it too. If they haven't responded by now, they never will. Look at it this way, they were able to produce an edition at an affordable price by an in demand artist. Plus they didn't cancel the sales that were bought off the leaked purchase link which you did. That was only meant for the vetted presale list. Gotta be grateful and show some appreciation instead of sounding entitled.

Anybody know how or when Avant Arte's releases happen?, by sean1397 on Sept 1, 2021 23:50:03 GMT 1, My guess is they have a variety of lists. I have spent about 30 minutes speaking with one of their art conisseurs about my collection, what I like, artists they should look to work with etc. They are building a community.
Given most their stuff sells out, I don't think they worry much about that but as they move from $500 pieces to $5000 and $10000 more deeper pockets are a good thing for them or any gallery. Most good galleries want to know their customers.
Some artists want to sell based on geography. Others want people who never resell. Some want it to be completely random.
Something tells me if Michael Jordan or Kaws or Ronaldo or Lebron or Madonna asks for a piece of art they prob go on a list above you or I. Where you are on the list only the gallery knows. The fact they reached out to you means they care a bit about you. Better yet is to converse via phone or in person. Everyone always tries to help people they know. If you meet them in person, take a bottle of wine... Again nothing like getting to know people in person
