NFT Art , by neist12 on Sept 13, 2021 9:07:48 GMT 1, Be very careful with all the projects that are just there to be flipped… they are new projects every day,…most of them are just crap I really encourage you to pick projects with heavy backgrounds. 0,2 is very cheap in NFT world. These were 0,7 before reveal. When it’s cheaper the gas price for transactions tend to be too expensive compared to the Nft price.

Lets see what the future holds. I never thought that but I am quite bullish on NFTs now.

NFT Art , by wave on Sept 13, 2021 11:52:01 GMT 1, Hey guys, We now have two NFT threads but thought I’d create one in order for active members on the NFT trend to recommend deals and advices for fellow members trying to enter the market - but without experience. The same way UAA advised on prints and drops we should have a thread dedicated to NFT opportunities. Disclaimer: am not a NFT professional, am learning the hard way, on forums and and tutorials but what I lack now are people better informed than I am and willing to share experience, insider information and opportunities This is not a debate thread on NFT’s. I understand this might be something people are not willing to enter but it seems obvious something is happening here. FYI I am on opensea and on discord, am buying most VeVe collectible drops and invested a bit in the crypto linked to the app (ECOMI). Anything you guys recommend? Let’s use this to announce drops and share insights. Cheers
Great thread. One question i have (as a newbie) is gas prices on BIN items on opensea. I understand calculation when minting but how are the fees calculated when buying. I.e is it better to purchase when the network is quiet? If you hit purchase, is there a pop up window of fees before comitting?

NFT Art , by Deleted on Sept 13, 2021 15:35:08 GMT 1, I tried for the Sneaky Vampire Syndicate release last night, as it seemed a no brainer (well, this is all relative) in terms of supply and demand. Alas, I was unsuccessful. Nice to have this thread going though, so hopefully we can share some upcoming projects. The Cool Cats project looks to have a bit more to it than many of the others, but prices are already well out of my range. I still find it baffling as to where all these people with loads of money have come from, and how they've instantly been able to dwarf almost all print sales bought one!

NFT Art , by Smokeidaeye on Sept 13, 2021 16:22:41 GMT 1, If you're in it to build a nice collection of digital art versus trying to flip, I have really enjoyed the Hic Et Nunc platform ( www.hicetnunc.xyz/ ) as there are tons of artists offering 1 or more of their pieces for almost nothing or even 0 tez in order to build a following. And bigger named artists often announce a new launch on social media so you can snag a small edition before the resale market balloons the sale prices.
And the gas fees are miniscule so it's easy to build a collection cheap.
What I did was find an established artist that is pretty familiar with the platform like Dalek ( www.hicetnunc.xyz/DALEK ) and check out his/her personal collection for inspiration. Then if I really like another artist's style I'll check out their collection, then further down the rabbit hole!

I made the mistake of typing 5, rather than five, so by the time I got it right I guess my chance had passed. I'm tempted to buy early on the secondary, but already the prices have gone up to 1 eth nah if you were there right at drop time chances are your request never made it in. Their services were overloaded, but you wouldn't have known that just looking at the webpage.
Ps I also did this lol

Pity it looks like it uses a different currency/wallet to opensea though? Yes, it operates on Tezos which seems to be really hot right now and is extremely energy efficient. I set up Airgap Wallet and Airgap Vault for transactions and transfer Tez from Coinbase.
I will say that the one thing that I still don't understand about all of the different platforms is whether once you own a token you have to trade it on that platform or if you can move it/list it elsewhere (in this case buy on HEC and move to opensea). So much to learn...

NFT Art , by dunkers on Sept 13, 2021 17:50:12 GMT 1, I would be interested in finding out about some new projects. I’vedone loads of reading since getting the Hirst and now understand the potential of NFTs
I have just bought a jailbird which is cool and looks like it could have promise based on the roadmap. I have also recently won a giveaway for an NFT passport for a metaverse DAO project
I’m keen on finding projects with utility and potential for generating income.

I found out on discord, but the actual price is very close to mint price as gas fees were very high that day. Price went down as metadatas have not been revealed yet because the creators want it to be more about the art than about rarity. (Like creature world that someone also mentioned on here, which is a nice project too by the way). It is still very early on this project. I am very bullish on it. They are fun (and addictive) to collect ! Here is the website where you can easily find more about this project and find the discord. abs.thehundreds.com/
