NFT Art , by rinz on Sept 28, 2021 22:32:14 GMT 1, I previously recommended Groupies. Let me put some more thoughts out: It's a totally organically project. There have not been any hype about it before release, no marketing and there was only 2k in the discord. The drop was a dutch auction. Starting at around 2 eth and going down to 0.06. 10k pieces; mint when you want. As soon as it went to 0.06 it sold out instant - that was a surprise for many people. So someone had been eyeing them. So 10k sell out with out hype. Furthermore the buyers are the ones, you want to buy your project; Not the hypekids but big collectors. The Cryptopunk chat loved the project, and yesterday everyone was writing about it and sharing their Groupies in the Punk chat. The art is (imo) very, very good and very different from all the other pfp projects. And looking at Nansen, you can see, that a lot of "notable buyers" bought into the project: Congrats to those that bought! Floor is now at .69 eth!

I paid about 75$ fees but its still running and nothing is coming. Am afraid that if i close the window i will lose the gas fees but i really dont get it. Can anyone help with information?

Never wrong taking profits ! If you can sell one and get your investment back something to think about. I do think these will go higher but this is such a high risk asset class always proceed with caution.

They are almost reaching the 3ETH level now. Problem is i dont see what the difference is between a 0.05ETH piece vs a 50ETH piece like cryptopunks. Although am pretty sure you need to be backed by whales. Am going to sell one to cover my cost (3.15 total for the 3) and keep 2 including the one which i feel is a bit more special (although thats again relative).
I have some omnimorphs too but not taking much heat right now. I really feel you need to mint as much as you can (something i havent done yet) and if you buy secondary be ready to take a loss if no pick up. Although the three creatures i bought from were selling at a loss and turned out (for now) to be a mistake
am going to hold the rest though
Any more advice welcome friend, lets see where this takes us

NFT Art , by Wearology on Sept 30, 2021 13:39:57 GMT 1, Osinachi – a Nigerian digital artist who also created his own cryptocurrency called Osina – will be the first Afrikaans artist to auction non-fungal tokens through Christie’s and in collaboration with the 1-54 Afrikaans art exchange. Five of Osinachi’s works, depicting a 1972 David Hockney pool painting, are estimated at between £ 40,000 and £ 60,000 each in an online sale (October 5-19).
The works – which can also be bought with ether or bitcoin – mainly address imbalances between work and life, but also have a black protagonist, something that is ‘very important for his highly personal work’, says Isabel Millar, a Christie -specialist.
The 29-year-old Osinachi, whose full name is Prince Jacon Osinachi Igwe, creates detailed digital works using Microsoft Office, an extremely basic application in a high-tech field. Earlier this year, he sold three NFTs in just ten days for the equivalent of $ 75,000. “NFTs have given him an excellent platform and such visibility,” says Millar. Christie’s will show the works on screens this year 1-54 London Fair (October 14-17).

I can't see that he is a member of their team in anyway? Just looks to me like he's using his Ape to create his own story, which is pretty genius tbh but tell me if I'm wrong.

Very very clever of him, and even more clever to allow BAYC holders pre-sale access. That is a smart move.

How is this different than hundreds trying to get in line for a print release to wait hours and come out empty handed?
Let’s say you your hourly rate is 10/hr after taxes (min wage to avoid discussion about this), 5 hours in line without buying anything is similar to getting in line for a NFT

Same thing happened with recent purchases of highest Crypto Punks.
Once you own a nft that you spent 350 eth on, people all of a sudden will follow you like a sheep and even take advice on other NFTs
