How is this different than hundreds trying to get in line for a print release to wait hours and come out empty handed? Let’s say you your hourly rate is 10/hr after taxes (min wage to avoid discussion about this), 5 hours in line without buying anything is similar to getting in line for a NFT
I’d say if you arrived at a queue for a print release of 100 edition and there were already 120 people in the queue you’d go home costing you nothing but your own free time as you wouldn’t be there during working hours. If they were working hours then your either ripping off your employer or you’ve taken holiday in which case you’re being paid anyway.
I imagine ETH are making hay while the sun shines with these high fees. When other companies like XRP with lower fees start eating into its markets share it’ll have to rethink its pricing. I know you’ll argue ETH 2.0 but shouldn’t that have arrived in 2019… come on SEC you’re letting down the ETH fans.
