The concept that someone will spend a lot of money to replace their white sphere with another, slightly bigger white sphere is questionable. I was thinking the same. But lots of folk would have bought multiples so the final number will be much lower once they have merged

266k total mass sold divided into over 28k NFTs. I believe there are over 6k these cube NFTs. Given the cubes are in $30k territory, this might be a decent buy after all.

That team is full of outside the box thinkers and they're doing things I haven't seen anyone else even considering yet. First they optimized their contract to lower gas fees to under $40/transaction and now they just rolled out minting via PayPal with $29 fixed gas fees for one mint and $16 for each additional! So you can mint their NFTs now without having to purchase ETH which lowers the barriers of entry significantly. I am wary about the long term value of these “adjective” animal/human/thing nft collections as it seems that a couple pop up everyday. They try to copy BAYC without necessarily offering anything new.

This group isn't trying to copy BAYC at all actually. They're trying to develop a console/pc game built using Unreal Engine 5 that will have NFTs integrated into it in the form of characters, land, currency, loot crates, etc. It's an ambitious project for sure. However, if they can pull it off it could be huge. They're definitely outside the box thinkers and I like the way they're going about rolling everything out in a slow measured fashion instead of trying to drive as much hype as possible with little substance behind the project. As with all these projects it could end up failing big time but, so far, this one is still my favorite.

It's a really bad image to chose to divide in to 10,000 squares for the NFT's too. There is a lot of solid white and solid black area, it doesn't really make sense. Unless you get the flowers or eyes, chances are you won't even know what section you have.

Also to give an idea of what utility some nfts hold, I picked up one yesterday purely based on the fact it gives me access to their market tools. It pulls in a lot of data from various sources and gives you decent analytics on twitter and discord numbers, allowing you to go hunting for that alpha.

Seems somewhat stupidly thought out, can't see how this Banksy will jump in value when you most likely own a solid white or black square. Lacks uniqueness, apart from it having next to no connection to the artist and connected to the greedy folk at christies, setting up a shell company in Reno, NV to dodge taxes. Are they hoping Pest Control will issue 1/10,000 COA's? |
