This time I went for something a bit more than the usual Avatars... They are all Hand finished! 1000 unique!

A customer shared this with me and I thought it an interesting concept.

It does look like they are genuinely trying to do something different with NFTs. After the initial flurry of get rich quick schemes and massive profits; I was waiting to see how NFTs could be used for other purposes.
Essentially, Particle buy a piece of art, it is digitised into a 100 x 100 grid making 10,000 particles - each becomes an NFT which can be purchased, sold, gifted traded etc.
Particle sell 90% of the NFTs, keep 9% for themselves and place 1% in trust to ensure that no one can own all of the particles and claim ownership of the art. The Art is kept in trust never to be sold
"The physical works of art will be placed in the Particle Foundation, a non-profit public trust and physical museum whose purpose is to maintain, preserve, and display the collection on behalf of the Particle community". There will also be a virtual museum of all of the art
I see the Particle Collection strategy as similar to sponsoring an exhibit at a museum - although you can trade your sponsorship certificate.
Is this a good thing - what are our thoughts?
