I totally agree on the similarities, but doesnโt the fwen club still feel like itโs in for the long run? With established companies involved and a further plan of releases? Also, isnโt there only 1000 NFTs in this edition? I think these will be considered art in a bigger sense then EPs 7777 of the same.
Full disclosure, would buy if I had the chance but odds are slim.

Yeh, maybe they are trying to do something long term with a lot of future plans but their strategy of hyping it to the moon is just going to lead all of these to end up in the hands of flippers. Not really sure the point of that. Plus I can't imagine the discord is much fun with a 220k folks saying GM and 'can i get on WL'. If they are trying to build up an actual community, I would argue this is a bad way to do it. Time will tell. As you, if I had one, I'd flip the shit out of that all day long. |

NFTs in today current usage is trash. With that said, there are several examples where they can be seen as part of the future.
The primary direction I see how NFTs will coincide with the traditional art world will be the replacement of a paper COA. I don't know about you all, but I've either lost or damaged 2 COAs so far. I I can see it being helpful to have a record of authenticated ownership live on the blockchain. I believe Damien Hirst is already doing this to an extent.
The second driver is definitely more of techno wizardry. NFTs are far more than stupid monkey pictures. They can be used to establish ownership, proof of attendance, authorization, verification, credentials, auditing ... honestly the list can go on for a long time.

Iโve not studied prices, but looks like Currency NFT prices are slowly rising.
Gone from ยฃ9-10k to around ยฃ12k.
The final burn may change things again, but weโll have to see.

With that said, I'm really into what Streeth is trying to do. I think it's a pretty cool project with a future if you ask me, and this is outside of the potential monetary gain.
