In my mind, there is no doubt this will be a huge market. NFTs are here to stay.

I think these at least have the potential to be interesting as NFTs. I'm sure they'll be like $10k each though or something ridiculous like that.

Someone is burning a Banksy to mint an NFT

Unfortunately this is the state of URBAN art.  My painting and gondek fall squarely in urban art.  He just is branching into a different distribution channel.  No different than an urban art print.

At least buy a decent lighter.

They are not stupid, they are not art in the traditional sense, and they certainly are not bitcoin/krypto currency.

They are more like trading cards. I sure wish Magic The Gathering would have existed digitally in this way. My black lotus would have made me mad dough.

Art is about creativity, feeling and craft, this is about creating commodities.

F*ck NFTs actually piss me off.

NFT has so many billionaire tech players behind the scenes trying to make this into something.

These billionaires are going try and make it seem like artists and collectors can make a lot of money right now - easily. It's a scam to try and get people onto this system. At the end this will end up like everything else where it will get oversaturated or larger artists will get involved and the system just becomes like everything else, meantime the major financial players in the background who already have billions will gain even more billions and bail from it. Or it crashes but the major players already got out.

This will all crash at some point - but for the next year or so these billionaires will pore billions of $$$$ into this system to try and make artists - like LUSH - feel important and try to draw more artists and collectors who don't typically make this type of money. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of these big resell numbers are done by these investors in the back trying to make this into something right now.

I've started to notice a lot of these NFT pieces on NFTY gateway are now reselling for cost or less as more artists are getting involved. It seems like they are trying to make a media story out of some of these artists to gain attention right now. Many collectors on the site are trying to resell them for insane prices but the pieces just sit there. It seems like these large secondary market prices are just there to attract attention and that's it.

I could see digital baseball cards and Magic like cards becoming big business in NFT. Now is the time to make a new mobile game - like Magic or Pokemon Go - with NFTs to collect. Maybe there is a future in all that.

I'm not so sure in fine art yet due to presenting them. I don't think the technology is there yet and wont be for a while. I can see in the future art groups like TeamLab using NFT to sell digital art work.

i don't know where digital art will go in the future, but one thing is for sure my art will always be physical art.

You make a great point and I think the strong currency for art NFTs will be ADA on Cardano as the "gas" fees (cost of minting / transacting) will be much less.
