Like that, nice to see something a bit different now and again. Puts me in mind of Mademoiselle Maurice who I saw doing her thing on some show the kids were watching one day. She uses origami pieces in bright colours which are then stuck up to make patterns, pictures and words. I thought the use of paper, which won't last long, was quite in keeping with the here today gone tomorrow nature of graff.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Feral Things on Jul 7, 2014 20:09:54 GMT 1, Galerie le Feuvre currently have a group show with a great line up:
Also, Galerie LJ have a group show featuring Swoon and SupaKitch, Alรซxone and SupaKitch have recently painted the interior and exterior of le Pavillon des Canaux and the Robert Montgomery show at Colette looks brilliant. But most of all, if you're arriving by train, just enjoy the ride in. The tracksides are amazing; bombed out like no where else I've been.

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by Someones Brain on Jul 8, 2014 13:45:20 GMT 1, I don't know about current exhibitions, but maybe you can find some more information when reading these threads and following the links/advices in there: urbanartassociation.com/thread/111699/paris urbanartassociation.com/thread/112819/street-art-highlights-london-paris
Also, if you're after the street pieces some (older and current) pics can be found here: urbanartassociation.com/thread/81820/paris-street-art
There are a lot of street/urban art galleries in Paris, literally all over the town. You'll find these easily through google (or any other preferred search engine). Also, we found a lot of galleries (more or less) by accident while walking through the town (75 km in 5 days). We liked the Belleville quarter a lot (with regard to street pieces).

Visit PARIS ๐ซ๐ท France Street Art, Galleries, Events, by met on Aug 6, 2014 19:02:00 GMT 1, Bump! Will be in Paris for a few days at the end of the week. Anyone have any tips for street art related things to do? Exhibitions? I know Cope2 was there few the past few weeks.. is he involved in any exhibitions? Have been a few times so I know about the tons and tons Invaders there. Excited about that at least! Walk around the Oberkampf district in the 11th arrondissement. Besides plenty of unauthorised street pieces, you'll find Le Mur (107 rue Oberkampf, Paris 75011), a former advertising billboard which over time became a sanctioned and curated exhibition space. This is a street art institution in Paris and worth visiting if only for its art historical significance.
Galerie Magda Danysz in the 11th arrondissement is a key gallery.
See Galerie LJ as well, in the 3rd arrondissement โ less street-art-oriented than it once was, but still benefitting from the clear curatorial vision of its director, Adeline Jeudy.
While in these neighbourhoods (Marais and Bastille districts in the 3rd and 11th arrondissements), consider also Addict Galerie in the 3rd arrondissement.
I haven't yet been to Galerie Le Feuvre in the 8th arrondissement, but it represents some strong artists.
On the Left Bank, visit Galerie Itinerrance in the 13th arrondissement; it's very active in the street art scene and represents some known artists.
NB: Given it's August, you'd be strongly advised to call before making a special trek to any of these galleries. Half of the city is on holiday and will have vacated for the month.
Regarding Cope2, although it hasn't been independently confirmed, I heard he's taking part in an ongoing information exchange programme between (i) a specialised task force / unit under the direction of the Transit Bureau in New York City and (ii) the equivalent body in Paris. Not sure if members of the public can join or participate, but the programme is usually held at the Ministรจre de l'Intรฉrieur in the La Madelaine district in the 8th arrondissement (Place Beauvau, 75008 Paris).
