Unfortunately it was after I had checked out of my hotel and I had my wheelie suitcase in tow.
Didn't realise that the whole place was cobbled.
Talk about waking the dead!!
People were standing peacefully contemplating death, art, beauty etc at the grave of Chopin, Jim Morrison or whoever else and then......DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK, DUNK as I came clattering round the corner.
I wish I had a video. I must have ruined the experience for hundreds.
Quick tip. Don't visit with your suitcase.

I was in paris for the day and had 2 hours to kill so walked from sotherbys to champs e lyse and walked past it. I didnt know it was there or that it was on. Amazing luck as i was in sotherbys to buy a warhol.
the exhibtion is awesome!!!!!!!! I would kill for the shah of iran/ wife and twin portraits and loved the bardot portrait also. The extra large mao is also totally amazing. I so wish i could get an original portrait, just pray i will be rich enough to get one some day.

We were lucky enough to see the JR exhibition last time.
Provisionally booked in for the Murakami exhibition this time round and we'll be going to the horse racing on the Sunday..
