this particular image is not much more than that, but it works so good. I bet you will be intrigued with her work as well. worth the effort at least!

At $22.8k for the buyer I think someone has just got themselves a fantastic piece of art.

Out of interest how does that work. She calls pass then spots a bidder on the hammer and sells at that bid without warning giving the under-bidder no chance to respond. Just a point of interest.

I was surprised the est. was sup 100K, his work is great. Amazed by the result nonetheless, but I think you will see his work in cont art sections more and more.

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by Dice on Oct 2, 2012 23:07:49 GMT 1, Thanks, been following this for a while now. Some are really weak IMO, eg Sam Taylor wood just framed hers on concrete background, am I missing something? Tim Noble and webster well executed but boring old idea. Damo boring old spin painting, how imaginitive.
Nancy Fouts is the best I think, Don't Touch says it all really and the work, being physically impossible to hold, is very strong. Might put in a bid!!

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by iamzero on Oct 3, 2012 6:39:49 GMT 1, Went to see these at the weekend. Micallef wasa huge beast as was the Miller, Charming Baker was really good but the favourite for me was the thorned one... Amazing.
Hirst did look nice though. The punk graphics show on the South Bank was better though as I managed to see my first Banksy Turf War
