Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by Hanging Around on Feb 19, 2019 15:47:24 GMT 1, They’ve sold a set previously for round about this price. I think it benifits from proper photography for the set and maybe targeting richer people that don’t know it’s available for €500.

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by Shoot Again on Feb 19, 2019 15:58:55 GMT 1, P15 and p16 are bricks. Flippers wish they could rewind the clock for these ones. A few Kaws originals (Also Richter editions, Hirst, Jonas Wood, etc)... but also a set of Small Lie toys! Seems odd for Phillips to be selling!! (I was hoping they may have had to say how limited these "Limited Editions" are, but no) Small Lie Set: www.phillips.com/detail/KAWS/UK010219/235 My P16 looks absolutely stunning in my basement lounge though ;-)

Phillips Art Auctions • New York, Hong Kong & London, by lee3 on May 11, 2019 0:38:02 GMT 1, >>>anyone know what this piece eventually sold for in 2014?<<<
This will be the fourth from that edition to come to market according to a quick search (results on the previous 3 below). That is an enormous number for the low estimate on that ballerina considering the jurisdiction and date of sale squeezed in between the more robust/traditional NY sales in May and London in June. If the reserve is the low estimate for that piece, that translates to a $480k price with premium required for sale. That seems aggressive to me and may well scare away potential suitors though perhaps I'm a step behind the times. Here are the previous 3 works including the pair that the New Zealand couple auctioned at Bonhams:
Banksy Title ANGEL HEAD Description signed and inscribed CP/28 on the reverse spraypaint on canvas 40.5 by 30.5cm.; 16 by 12in. Executed in 2013. Medium spraypaint on canvas Year of Work 2013 Size Height 15.9 in.; Width 12 in. / Height 40.5 cm.; Width 30.5 cm. Misc. Signed, Inscribed Sale of Sotheby's London: Tuesday, March 15, 2016 [Lot 00015] Contemporary Curated Estimate 50,000 - 70,000 GBP ? (70,841 - 99,178 USD) Sold For Bought In Provenance Acquired directly from the artist by the present owner
Banksy Title Kids on Guns Description 2013 signed and numbered CP/15 on the overlap stencil spray paint on canvas 45.5 by 45.5 cm. 17 15/16 by 17 15/16 in. This work was executed in 2013. This work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued by Pest Control Office Medium stencil spray paint on canvas Year of Work 2013 Size Height 17.9 in.; Width 17.9 in. / Height 45.5 cm.; Width 45.5 cm. Misc. Signed Sale of Bonhams London: Wednesday, July 2, 2014 [Lot 00012] Post-War & Contemporary Art Estimate 50,000 - 70,000 GBP ? (85,822 - 120,151 USD) Sold For 68,500 GBP Premium ? (117,576 USD) Provenance Banksy's stall in Central Park, New York Acquired directly from the above by the present owner in 2013 Exhibition Christchurch, Canterbury Museum, Rise, 2013-2014
Banksy Title Winnie The Pooh Description 2013 signed and numbered CP/10 on the overlap stencil spray paint on canvas 45.5 by 45.5 cm. Misc. Signed Sale of Bonhams London: Wednesday, July 2, 2014 [Lot 00013] Post-War & Contemporary Art Estimate 30,000 - 50,000 GBP ? (51,493 - 85,822 USD) Sold For 56,250 GBP Premium ? However, the estimate on the other one in the auction that you flagged seems way over the top for a relatively ' average' image and piece..but who knows.. it only takes two people who want it i guess

I have seen the art stunt many times :
There are 8 artworks that are sold for total 420 USD A lady buys 2 monkey for 120USD but get it for 60USD A young Lady from New Zealand buys 2 for 120 USD(Winnie the pooh and girl and boy on weapon mountain) and a man buys 4 for 240 USD he buys: Heavy Weaponry, Flower thrower, Jumping Monkey and "The key to the making of great art is in the composition".
Ballerina was never sold here? How come that is written in the provenance? This has also a coa from pest control? and Phillips auction house?

Is that your guess or is it a fact?
The auction house states: "Provenance ‘Better Out Than In’, Central Park, New York Acquired from the above by the present owner in October 2013"
I understand that that means it was bought in central park? If it was not bought in central park but sold to collectors after the event then the artworks would have a different value of course....
